Another user already did something similiar to this thread but he/she only said between ares and emule. I say which is the best p2p client overall.

I personally say LimeWire is the best file sharing program without a doubt. It is fast, has no spyware or adware and has no central server which means you cant be tracked down by the police as easily as with some other clients.

Also, here is the link to a page which details which file sharing programs are clean and unclean. Read it before downloading and installing any p2p program: http://www.p2pconsortium.com/index.php?showtopic=1950

shareaza--open source (no spy/adware), handles edonkey2k, gnutella, and gnutella2 networks and trackerless bittorrent.

I agree that LimeWire is the best. Shareaza isn't very good.

I say LimeWire, though I doubt any of the ones that made the list can be worse then WinMX.

eMule. Shareazza doesn't support KAD so eMule gets my vote. Also I've downloaded terabytes of shit over the years. Awesome network. No fake bull shit.

emule's my second choice. what's KAD?

Limewire, as it is easy to quickly download songs, is the best musics sharing application, and as I download more music, that is better for me. However, full albums and very rare songs are easy to find if you connect to the server Razorback2 using eMule, so it was actually a hard choice...

I am shocked that anyone would still use kazaa. If that person is you, STOP, and use LimeWire!!
