yes i just heard the live feed from the court room at 5:22 pm on monday 6-13-05. How did they let him off like that, I wasted all that time waiting(about 10 minutes) for Michael Jackson to get sent to jail and this happens, come on now.

I kind of knew he wasn't going to be guilty. Hopefully there won't be anymore of those fucking stupid Michael Jackson jokes.

I have neither been for or against Michael Jackson. I still have no opinion really about this. It is horrible if he has done all that kinda shit, but who knows? And when he is a famous person it gets even harder to know the thruth.

not guilty? well well so money CAN buy you freedom....you know if he had been fouind guilty, he would have been sharing a prison with Charles Manson....well possiblity, for his own safety!

Money can buy you freedom, but I don't think so in this case. And even if it is so, it would come out sooner or later.

Yo, I don't say he's guilty nor innocent. I believe only one person knows the truth, Jackson himself.
Anyway, now he has been declared innocent so hopefully this is the end of this story.

I think the jury is on drugs for saying not guilty to all counts. He deserves to be in jail..that's just way too messed up. But when another little boy has a complaint of Michael Jackson, they would now know that they made a terrible mistake of not putting his fake ass in jail

Linda
06-13-2005, 07:15 PM
How did they let him off like that,

Because he IS innocent. Fair verdicts. There is justice afterall.
Praise the Lord!

The passion that this trial has aroused in people has been quite astonishing. Because really, this isn't just about Michael Jackson - it's about can money buy you justice?

I personally have no opinion, and I also believe no one can say he did it or didn't do it definitely. Because at the end of the day, no one knows except Jackson and the kids.

The passion for Jackson was unbelievable during the feedback on the news today. You should've saw all the Jackson fans jumping like little homo's happy that Jackson isn't going to jail. I thought he was going to be guilty for sure because of all the complaints they got for that one trial.

You should hate him because he's an ugly little freak asking little boys to sleep in his bed with him..oh, yeah, and his fake nose is just scary

So, let me get this straight. You're judging him because of the way he looks?
How very immature. There are alot of people in this world who are good looking who are bigger freaks than Michael could ever be. Some of them are one this very bbs. And, it is very possible to "sleep" with a child without molesting them. Grow up before you make judgements about adult subjects.

Though I hate Michael Jackson and think he is guilty as sin in this case, I think that hating him because the way he LOOKS is absolutely ridiculous. Hate him because he is so obviously guilty, forget about the way he looks.

Michael Jackson should have been arrested for life.

I wonder why anyone would be surprised he walked. The mother of the kid who accused him has tried scamming money out of other celebrities in the past. If that doesn't scream "reasonable doubt" to you, then I don't know what would.
There was really no other verdict to render.

seeing on the new that two of the jury have doubts about him....they think he has abused children in the past, just with this case there wasnt enought evidents to convict him!! shit and bull come to mind!

that's just what i wanted to say.
how can ANYONE of you actually *know* whether he is guilty or not? it's pissing me off that it's a big deal just because he is a celebrity.
things like that happen every day. not that i dont care, because i do, everytime i hear about it, but just because this was made public doesnt make you all experts on the whole thing. in fact, you dont know jack shit.

Mota Boy
06-14-2005, 12:16 PM
I didn't write this, but I agree with it.

He got off because the prosecution didn't have a good case against him. The accuser's mother perjured on the stand! Yeah, that kind of testimony is going to deliver a guilty verdict.

The way our justice system works is that if there is a reasonable doubt, the jury CAN NOT convict someone. And with the shitty testimony the prosecution gave the jury, there was more than a reasonable doubt.

The prosecution proved he's a creepy guy. Okay, that's not a crime. They proved he sleeps in the same bed as boys. Not a crime. They proved he had porn in his room. Not a crime. They proved he had boys in that room. Not a crime. They proved that the boys had, at some point, viewed that pornography. Not a crime. They never proved that he molested the boys. The jury can't just convict people because they have a hunch that he did it. They took what they were given and made a decision. Considering the evidence I've heard, I think they made the right decision.

Even though it publises our (your) justice system to critique? I think that's a positive thing.

I like how everyone is an expert on his case tho. without seing the relevant evidence. "Oh no he's not guilty, he's just a little messed up" or "that pervert!". You can't tell hsit without looking at the facts properly.

How do you know what his actions of late are? Do you live with him? Do you spend time with him every day? I think not. All anyone knows is what the media tells them, and if you people believe everything the media tells you, I really feel sorry for you.

Obviously.

Anyways, I don't care one way or the other about Jackson's case. It doesn't seem to me like it should be anything out of the ordinary, even if he is a celebrity. It wasn't proven beyond reasonable doubt, and therefore he was acquitted. End of story.

And I enjoy a lot of the old Michael Jackson stuff. Aren't I just asking for it by admitting that.
