Since i installed LimeWire, my sister is like "THAT BRINGS VIRUSES! UN-INSTALLED THAT SHIT NOW!" I was wondering, does it bring viruses and spam? 'Cause i don't think it does.

No, but apparently it is illegal if you download often say, two or three songs a night.

Viruses can come through on any p2p system. As long as you have a decent virus scanner, I wouldn't be too worried.

if you download viruses, then you get viruses. anything that can access the net is a virus vector, you just need to know how to keep things safe.

judging by the fact that you even bothered to ask this question, you're probably not safe.

Even if it doesn't give your compy a virus, most p2p programs come looooaded with spyware. Best without it, and with a good copy of Adaware.

That's not good, I used to download entire CDs. I haven't downloaded anything for about a month, though.
