where didja find this out?
it was in an interview the offspring had in an important radio from latn american called"rock and pop" and they asked if the one from the intro was him and dexter answered, that was the singer from the beach boys because they had a good relation and dexter had done a favore for him before so the singer from beach boys asked if he could appear in the cd

I wonder what that favor was?

its funny this was mentioned, i just read that in the co1 booklet earlier today, it was kind of a boring day lol. i also noticed that the splinter booklet is the only one without a thank you section, unless i missed it.

Yeah, you're right, I found it strange when I first read it. But it's dedicated to "the memory of Doug Thompson KUCOYF". He was the lead singer at Manic Subsidal's starting days, before Dexter started singing.

Why are there no thank-yous on Splinter? It's very strange, isn't it?

Yep, I noticed that too... but I'm getting used to the fact that The Offspring do strange things now... oh well. Josh Freese credited as the drummer in Can't Repeat; the complete music DVD without the new version of Can't Repeat; CGMHAY doesn't appear on the menu list on that same DVD...

Intro on CO1 is the singer from the Beach Boys and it was taken from The Lost Tapes Tour, I beleive. (http://www.JAKESOFFSPRING.com)

I don't quite remember how it appears in the booklet, but I know that, when I saw it for the 1st time, I got the idea that the singer wasn't Dexter... I think it says there or something... at least that's what I can recall... so don't be disappointed, Dexter didn't try to bullshit anyone... :)

But yeah, when I first heard it, I thought it was Dexter. Then I found out that it was Mike Love :(

Yeah, people should read a few posts before replying!

Anyway....... for those who don't know these things... better at least take a look to the booklet before asking these questions, or buy the original CD!!!

This is a forum for discussion, so it's much more productive to discuss ambiguous matters, not things that are written in bold letters in the album's booklets..
