I'd like to know everyones favourite movie of all time. Please limit it to only 1 or maximum 2 movies and not just place a giant list of movies you like. Reason being, I've just been looking at lists which supposedly list the Top movies of all time and it's all bullshit. Half the movies I've never heard of before, and I'm sure most people haven't. So we'll start our own voting for best movie of all time right here. Write your favourite movie's of all time, and those which seem like genuine entries will get added to a poll in a few weeks where we can determine the best movie.

Sorry if something like this has been done before but I aint seen it. Anyway, my top movies are:
*American Beauty
*The Others

My all time favorite movie has to be Spaceballs. I don't even like movies, and I thought it was great.

Probably Debbie Does Dallas. Nah, it would be if i'd seen it lol. Gotta be What lies beneath and 8 Mile.

BTW, I'm still looking for pictures of users bums naked or clothed. Go to my thread to post them. Remember I have gotten permission for this to be the only thread on this board which will be permitted to have these pictures posted. So make the most of it while it's available. There will be a competition to judge the best backside in a few weeks, so start taking pictures now!! Go to: http://www.offspring.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13513

Are you talking about "Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain" ?

My prefered movies are
"La Cité De La Peur", the funniest french movie i've seen ( 10 years ago at least ),
"Holy Grail", "Sacré Graal" in french, i love the "monty pythons".

Maybe coz here, i heard "Woaw, a chef d'oeuvre, wonderful", etc...
I was really excited before seeing it, jeunet made a great alien and all of that.
I was kinda disappointed, this movie bored me. Of course amélie is touching but I think the frame did not hit me, oppositely to the another movie i gave you.

I'll try not to tell you a lot...
The scene takes place during the first WW and its impact. It talks a lot about women. The main character is sure that her bf is alive whereas everybody thinks the contrary and will do everything to find him. There are several stories of different characters which joins, great pictures, a good movie.

That does sound interesting...I'm gonna try to find it. It should have English or Dutch subtitles though. I won't understand it in French :o

I hate trying to choose just a few.

Recently: The Last Samurai.

Long term: Aliens, The Terminator (Cameron used to be amazing).

Because I'm a wannabe vigilante and love Irish accents: Boondock Saints.

For great dialogue: Chasing Amy, Closer.

For a twist I didn't see coming: Matchstick Men.

For style: Confidence.

Shit I could go on for a long time.

Napoleon Dynamite was an excellent film. The trick was seeing it before the hype. The hype ruined it.

Seemed to forced to me. I understand that a lot of it is very accurate as far as the cultural touches here and there, but so many incredibly unfunny jokes were packed into such a small amount of time. Even worse, the timing for all of the jokes were way way way off.

Please vote for your selection in the poll. The winner by the time the poll closes on the 1st of October will be crowned the best movie of all time.

What's your number?

My only number is an IP number. I had to decide between having phone service or having internet service. And, well, phones don't have free porn.

I seem to remember something about it seeming very unrealistic too, though I can't remember either. I enjoyed the performances enough to overlook whatever it was, and it's rare for a film to surprise me so that gave it major points.

I saw Napolean Dynamite after the hype and really wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. I seem to remember thinking it was hilarious, but I've only seen it once and don't remember much in particular now.
