I like cool people and I don't feel like PMing all the people I like or might like talking to with my MSN address.

The fact of the matter is, if you ADD someone, you do it while acknowledging the fact you WANT to add them and want to talk to them - thus it's your responsibility to remember who the fuck they are and why the fuck you added them when you IM them or when they IM you, asking who you are - see, to them, someone random just added them but YOU yourself made the decision of adding someone and THUS you should fucking know who the fuck they are.

If you have trouble remembering because of names/different e-mails, don't add so fucking many people. Add one at a time.

Bullshit it is.

The reason I have my address on public display is not so that every fucker on Earth could add me on MSN and then ask me who I am - the reason I have my address on public display is so that people could add me because they want to talk to me and when they see a new name on their MSN list, they can go "Oh, that must be Vera!" and talk to me.

Now, if it's your hobby to go around adding random people and then forgetting who the fuck they are, then you do that but it's my right to bitch at you about it because you're a complete fucking retard for doing that. And not only are you a retard, you're an annoying retard - the worst kind of retard there is.

Well the pros/cons are clearly one sided. If someone really wanted to add you to MSN they'd ask for your addy, you'd get PMed it or something. Haivng it on public display means that 13y/o's are retarded to you asking stupid questions. It's clearly the open door analogy because you cannot change other people, only what you do yourself. But on a cyberscale.

Vera

I think he directed it. His best films are the ones he both wrote and directed, though. I mean, those I consider "true" Tarantino flicks.

Also, he wrote True Romance but Oliver Stone changed the script around a lot but I hear it's a good film.

Sin Studly

He wrote it, I think. He also wrote Natural Born Killers.

Writing a movie has nothing to do with how it turns out in the end. He whined like a bitch because Stone turned NBK into a masterpiece instead of a dime-a-dozen action movie like he wanted it to be.

Tarantino is a fucking douchebag.

I believe he was a "special guest director" on Sin City. Which, funnily enough, is one of the worst pieces of crap I've ever sat through.

What about From Dusk Till Dawn? Did he direct it or write it?

He wrote it and starred in it. Rodriguez directed. That movie has one of my favourite openings from any movie ever. The whole gas station scene is awesome. That movie is generally under-appreciated, though I can't decide if the ending is silly and pointless or pure genius.

Also, he wrote True Romance but Oliver Stone changed the script around a lot but I hear it's a good film.

You're thinking of Natural Born Killers. Tony Scott directed True Romance. You should really check it out though, it's good.

I went to a place to sell some DVDs yesterday, one of which was Reservoir Dogs (because I now own a special edition one). The girl behind the counter was checking the discs and suddenly goes "this movie's messed up". I was surprised, because I had checked all the discs myself before taking them in, and they were fine. I basically said that to her, and she was like "Oh the disk is fine, the movie's just messed up. The thing with the gasoline and the ear". She then gave me a very disapproving look.

Vera

Heh. Everyone always just remembers that one scene from Reservoir.

I fucking love that film, it's just modern story-telling via film at its best. I know the film by heart and the script is so brilliant I have 50% of it memorized and I've only seen the movie around 4 times.

Regarding MSN:
Having my e-mail address available has only been good for me. When you are not as "known" you get a lot less retards randomly adding you, but still cool people. So quit being so damn popular/hot/whatever else attracts them!

Regarding Tarantino:
Oh boy. I liked Pulp Fiction very much more (I will not say it was "better", I suppose it could be a matter of opinion). That movie mesmerized me... it had the elment of surrealness that I love in movies and that's also why I love both Kill Bill's. Reservoir Dogs, while it may have better dialogue (??? I have only watched it once and surely didn't catch everything), is such a guy movie deep down, and I can really only get so excited about violence...

Tizzalicious
08-11-2005, 11:50 PM
I need to rant about MSN a little, because people seriously start to piss me off. I have ranted about this before, but it hasn't stopped.

Don't start the convo by asking: "What's up?". If you do, you should be shot. I can NOT answer that question without killing the convo. There's just no way. Then when I say: "nothing really". You say: "lol" and 2 minutes later you say: "'sup?" AGAIN? You got me REALLY pissed off. Especially when you start the convo with that every fucking time. And I NEVER reply with anything constructive.

Then, talking to me when I'm on away. All fine with me, as you might catch me being actually there, hiding from annoying people (like you?). But if I don't answer, don't go: "Tizz? Hello? Are you there? Hello????" As obviously, I'm not there. Or you really are one of the annoying people. Same goes for when I'm on busy, but that pisses me off even more.

When I tell you I'm gonna study, don't ask me: "How is the studying going?" 5 minutes later. Because if you keep destracting me, IT WON'T GO VERY WELL!!!!

Betty
08-13-2005, 11:28 PM
I agree that "what's up" is the stupidest possible question. I would much prefer even "how are you?" or something boring like that. Because then at least you can answer "good" or "okay" or "terrible" or whatever but what can you possibly say to "what's up" besides like, "not much"...?

I'm always reminded of this man who used to shop at the grocery store where I worked and I think he had a few problems with his mind... but when people would ask him that he'd be like "the sky, helicopters, etc"... and that was somewhat entertaining.

Tizzalicious
08-14-2005, 12:38 AM
Yeah, I'm thinking about saying stuff like that to people who keep asking me what's up every single time we talk. Probably won't change much though. It'll still be: "lol" and then a dead convo.

Exactly. I also think the dialogue is excellent, and I love the feelings of paranoia as the thieves try to decide who betrayed them. Mr. Orange is probably the greatest character, since through him Tarantino explores the issues of conflicted loyalty and duty.

Haha, I've been known to do that too, because I hate that question.

Even worse, my friend's grandfather insists on randomly saying "Whadya think?" completely out of the blue and with no given subject. Oh, and that's "What do you think?" for anyone who couldn't understand. I soon gave up trying to ask "about what?" and settled for "not much" which never seems to satisfy him but shuts him up for the moment. I have a great desire to one day unleash on him about life, the universe and everything when he asks that question. Perhaps I should just try answering "42".
