IMO, "Ixnay on the Hombre" is like the "Negation of mankind"... mmmh, well, read this other thread, and maybe you'll understand it better :p

I thought 'ixnay' meant a 'don't talk about it/shut up about that subject' type thing. Not in the Oxford English dictionary anyway...

Ixnay means "insult." Hombre means literally "man," but generally means "the authority." So it means "fuck the adminstration."

Ixnay Is Pig Latin For Nix. Almost every american would know that I would guess, unless you're really young.

ixnay is pig latin for nix which means no or nothing... try using a dictionary for once... and if you're too lazy to get up you could just go to www.dictionary.com

I'm closing this topic because there's already several other threads to this exact topic, and one was linked early on in the replies here.

I would also like to point out that most of the people who posted replies here posted the exact same thing that was said once and even twice before in this same thread. Please exercise good internet etiquette and read replies before posting to see if someone else has already said the exact same thing.
