Talman

i've got one. It's a nice guitar. I used a yamaha pacifica before, which has a really fast neck, but the talman's neck is even faster. I'd prefer if it was a 24 fret, but it's definetily worth the money.

Don't get it. It's very unreliable and the finish is unstable. Also, why would you want NOODLES'S guitar? Be original, man.

Don't just go buy the pics you see of Noodles himself playing his NDM1, as I would imagine it's got a lot of custom features....anyways, here's the spec + pics from the Ibanez site =D

http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y169/Luceh/NDM1_TSG_1M_01.jpg

* 3pc NDM neck
* Basswood body
* Large frets
* Fixed bridge
* IBZ INF1 (H) neck pu
* IBZ INFS1 (S) mid pu
* IBZ INF2 (H) bridge pu

Pickups: Ibanez Infinity pickups in hum-sing-hum configuration with Special 5-Way switching pump out vast assortment of tones.

NDM's supposedly have a very good sound, from what people tell me. Hopefully, i'm going to try one out soon. Then I just have to persuade mum and dad to buy one for christmas... ;)

I'm not much on the technical side of guitars....what's the downside of a fixed bridge?

the only differences i can remember from the actual one noodles uses are the whammy bar, pickups and silver shiny pickguard. i would suggest getting it because i have it and i love it.

All i'm going to say, is that if you're just starting to learn/planning to learn to play guitar, don't go saying you want a ndm straight away. You might end up finding you dont enjoy playing guitar, and to spend $500 then give up is a bit of a waste. Wait until you've been playing about a year or something, and you're sure that you want to continue playing.
