Most of those kinds of things suck. When I was a stupid little second grade cheerleader I won a microphone similar to that for being at every practice and the third time I used it, it broke. :rolleyes:

well I need a mic for a band, and I found one at a professional music site for $180, but I don't want to pay that much.

Oh. I don't know much about that kind of stuff but I can tell you, if you want some thing good you are going to have to pay more than you would like to.

if u pay like $100 u'll get a great mic, but that one is crap... just my opinion :D

Are they called PG58's in the US/North America? Cause I was just going to suggest an SM58, I'm too lazy to see if that's correct or not, I just know that with some electrical products they get differen code numbers...

But yeah, a standard dynamic mic (assuming you're just doing live etc...) will work find. Studio mic's can be quite fragile if not handled with care and can break easily if you drop them and such.
