hey

our bands playing Can't Repeat and i'm wondering if anyone knows the effects used on the guitar at the start of the song

and does anyone know any settings on there amp for a good offspring tone?

im playing through a marshall valvestate with an ESP LTD EC-100

but if you have a good offspring tone post it

That is a good request man! I want to know as well. The first effect is the phaser i think.

i think it's flanger or chorus

the tone that the offspring is treble 8 bass 5 mid 3 reverb 3, i don't know if it is the exactly what dexter uses but it sounds good

That effect at the start of the song is heavy flanger, most multi effects pedals have flanger inbuilt.

And the settings DexterWannabe posted are about right.

I think the first effect is a flanger..or a phaser. Not completely sure. I found it on a tab site and thats what it said. And it had the amp settings too. Check on www.mxtabs.net

its called "jet" I have it as a preset on my digital pedal.
