Self Esteem back when I was a toddler, I forgot about it then when Hit that came out I got it, the bought Smash eventually and when I heard Self Esteem it brought back that warm feeling of back then. Why the offspring is my favorite band.

mine was pretty fly, I saw the video on tv and I thought the video was really fun!
but actually it must have been some song off Ixnay, cause I had a friend who like the Offspring before americana came out, and I remember him bringing some music to school sometimes during the ixnay-time, but pretty fly is the first song I actually remember..

pretty fly because it was my friend's brother's favorite song and he use to play it all the time. i had no idea the offspring did that song. it also took me a long time frigure out that they did come out and play. ever time i heard that song i was like "i need to find that band." and i had two offsprings cds already (Splinter and Americana). i'm so dumb

Mine was The Kids Aren't Allright. I heard it on some animation movie at www.newgrounds.com and after that a friend of mine had the Americana CD at his home. AFter listening to that CD, I started downloading randomly. First Self Esteem, which started me to laugh when I heard the 'lalala' part :p. After that was LAPD and I was really into that song, (still :p ). But the best to download in that time was Dirty Magic

Mines a bit odd. It'll Be A Long Time.

I'm only half sure of this. When I got my first offspring album about 4-6 years ago (Smash), I listened to all the songs, but something really clicked with IBALT. I was 100% positive I had heard the song before.

After IBALT, it was Staring at the Sun.

I voted for Defy You on that show like five times and it still didn't make it to the list. The program leader for that show said that Offspring should stick to their "fun" songs.

The first Offspring song I ever heard was Self Esteem. (At least I think it was) I saw the video on TV when I was six years old (1994) and I got the lala-intro on my head. Later I kinda' forgot how it sounded and I sat in front of the TV waiting for it to come on again... it never did and I forgot it 'till '99 when Offspring came to Sweden and my sister bought Smash (and I bought Americana). That concert was probobly my first (real) concert.

It was the first one I heard.(In fact it was WDYGAJ but I didn't like it 'cause it sounded like Ob-la-di Ob-la-da and I'm a huge Beatles fan. Also I had heard Pretty Fly for a million times when I was small but I wasn't listening popular music and I didn't care) Anyway when I first saw its video on TV I fell in love and that day I bought the album. Now, I still love that song and I think most of the people who say they hate it trying to look like cool. I don't need to say they are not cool, I guess.

must have been come out and play. no wait...i think i head that later. i heard hit that (COAP had been out for QUITE a while, but our local rock station plays it and self esteem quite frequently) first i think.

why so late? because in the ages of 11-12 i was going through a rap stage so i never listened to rock. and when i was younger than that, i listened to spice girls, bsb, nsync, britney, christina, and all that other crap.

offspring saved me from rap. i am so grateful. well, i bought splinter, loved every other song, forgot about hit that, and gradually started to buy more... (*sob* i still have two moreto buy......CO1 and s/t)
