Well I personally hate Emo indiscriminantly and cordually blame Boulivard of Broken Dreams for it. Way to go Green Day. And to think the offspring gets crap for Pretty Fly?

Why can't anyone write "BOULEVARD" correctly? I hate you.
Because it's French. Even though it's used in English as well as French, because it's rooted in the French language, it's impossible to spell correctly unless you have some brain power. Fuckin' kids.

I like both, personally.

I choose punk just because I have more pop-punk and punk in my playlist...

Here's my opinion upon emo-haters. (http://www.offspring.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11807)

In the meantime, I have decided (but yet to) get into My Chemical Romance - they sound alright anyways. I like a little bit of classic emo - I have Relationship of Command by At The Drive-In, which is good. That is REAL emo, and not singing depressing songs, dumbasses - ALL bands like Metallica do an "emotional" song and for fucks sakes, Metallica aren't emo.

I love punk personally - one of my fave genres, alongside a bit of indie. Nowt wrong with a bit of the good ol' indie rock.

I said something very similar to what you did without even knowing it.

Wow. And such.

My Chemical Romance are pretty good. Listen to the song Headfirst For Halos. It will make you say "Holy shit, that rocks". :D

By emotional music I mean depressing music that makes you cry and is about love.

I think I'm drunk but I don't know

Blood Brothers are probably considered screamo/spazcore by most people. I've never heard them referred to as "emo" before. Good call on the Cursive & ATDI though. Do you like any Fugazi?

Well I'm not a big fan of emo, But you're an idiot. You know, Emo has been around much longer than Boulevard (boulevard, with an 'e') of Broken Dreams, And Green Day Doesn't play emo. They play Pop/Punk, The Exact Same Genre as the Offspring weather they play it good or not is another question.
