The Blood Brothers - Crimes

Do you like it more than you did when you first bought it?

For me:

Mr. Bungle - Disco Volante, California
Pearl Jam (I finally downloaded their stuff 2 days ago after all my cd's were stolen in like...end of June, beginning of July)
Cursive - Domestica
Mars Volta - De-Loused in the Comatorium (still)
Minus the Bear - They Make Beer Commercials like This EP
Refused - The Shape of Punk to Come
Presidents of the USA - Love Everybody (it's not as good as Freaked out and Small, but it's enjoyable...and I don't have freaked out and small anymore on account of said theft)

If by terming these bands "real music" you mean to imply that what other people have listed are not "real music," I'm going to have to take issue with that. And by "take issue with" I mean "tell you you're wrong."

I'd love to reply... but apparently my musical taste is too unelite.

Umm...

The Golden Dogs - Everything in Three Parts
Sleater-Kinney - The Hot Rock
Elvis Costello and the Attractions - Best Of
The Start - Initiation
Social Distortion - Sex, Love and Rock n Roll
Tiger Army
Ted Leo and the Pharmacists - Shake the Sheets

Also, I have the new Modest Mouse CD downloaded and it's a lot better than I expected from the reviews I've been hearing recently. I really like the song Black Cadillacs. So I've listened to that a bit lately too.

It's grown on me a lot(all the tuneless high-pitched squealing actually sounds GOOD to me now), but I still think "Wolf Party" & "My First Kiss At The Public Execution" are the worst songs I've heard yet by them.

Oh man. Going on my to-download list... I am so not cool enough for the musical elite... *shame*

The Start is pretty good overall. Not groundbreaking, but a very fun listen. Initiation is probably better than I expected.

Aww, don't worry about it. I'm sure if you like the Start, you'll really like Siouxsie. :) Check out "Partys Fall" ("Parties Fall"?) and "Cities in Dust". :)
