They're British indierock sort of music. Lovely, lovely stuff.

I'm in love with their new album "Leaders of the Free World".

Who else is a fan/has heard of them?

Once I listened a song named I've Got Your Number. It must be their song, I can't remember clearly. It was a cool song. I loved the vocals.

I've heard of them. Asleep In The Back was quite a relaxing song actually to listen to, whenever I heard it on the radio.

Not really my type though. I prefer more upbeat indie rock like Franz Ferdinand and Maximo Park.

Never heard of them, but indierock is something that I might like...so I'll go check them out.

Shoot, I just deleted a bunch of Elbow mp3's that I have of this new album.

Well, I did YSI this to a friend a few days ago, so it might work:

Rather mediocre. But what can you expect from the British.

Navigator by the Pogues is much better, that's what I'm hearing at the moment.

You should link some good Pogues songs, Per.

I also agree with the moderate-ness of the Elbow band. However, I enjoyed the "Forget Myself" song better than the other one.

Iv seen elbow live twice and they sucked both times. I've Got Your Number is a good song, but they're not good live.
Maybe when they're an older band they'll rock, i gotta say tho i dont like the whole Brit-indie-music thing at the moment, does anyone like The Kaiser Chiefs?? Who the fuck would predict a riot at a Kaiser Chiefs gig? unless it was to get the shit out of there, not me. But yeah and this goes for almost all the newish music i'v recently heard, why has alternative indie music become 'mainstream pop tat' and viceee-versee. 3 years ago i woulda beaten myself up if id said that in 2005 i'd prefer Pop music to heavy metal or indie music.

Per, I didn't expect you to like them, really, they never seemed like your type of music. I don't know who I'd compare them with, maybe someone like Damien Rice, his music has the same sort of slow tempo and similar atmosphere.

Lupin - Some people I know online have said their live shows are good, I guess it just shows that if you like the music, the show will be good in your eyes.
