hi all u offpspring fans

here is a question that i have been trying to figure out for the past week

what is the difference between the track beheaded (featured on the self titled album) and Beheaded 99 (featured on the Idle hands Soundtrack)?

some ppl say there is a difference...some say there isnt..they both sound the same..can anyone shed some light in to this situation.

thanks

One was recorded for the Self-Titled album. The other was recorded in 1999. Listen to them, there are subtle differences.

I think - but I'm not sure - Noodles plays some "fills" in the '99 version that aren't in the original. just like Gotta Get Away live has some fills in it.

Yeah Sinister's right. plus Dexter sings "bad dreams with gulliotines" in one of them, and in the second he sings "bad dreams and gulliotines". :)

It's normal that Beheaded 99 is different than the first !
I mean, when you listen to ignition and splinter, i hope you're seeing a difference ( i'm talking about the sound ). That would be the same if they re-record songs from any of their first albums.
