The thing is, if this show was really recorded in 87 then it should be filed under The Offspring cause the name (The Offspring) was already in use (and print) in 1986 (see the Blackball/I'll Be Waiting 7inch.)

Lars is right on this one. By 1987 they were the Offspring. Noodles was never in Manic Subsidal and like Lars mentioned they had already adapted the Offspring name when they released the I'll Be Waiting/Blackball 7" in 1986. I do have a copy of the 1987 San Brerubin show on video tape. I bought it years ago from a music shop in Cypress, CA. The video is decent quality but the sound isn't all that great. They also fade the picture dark in between songs which is kind of annoying. They pan the audience quite a bit and if you notice there were plenty of skinheads in the circle pit. James is the one drumming but if you pay close attention Ron Welty is there doing roadie work. He's in a black leather jacket and looks about 15 years old.

Can anyone tell me where exactly San Berubin is? When you type it in a search engine all you get is the sites about this bootleg. The name sounds like a Californian one, but it's identified everywhere as San Berubin, Canada. The city being Canadian is pretty unlikely since back then they only played shows in California.
All of this is pretty weird.

i think its cause you're misspelling it as san berubin when it's actually san brerubin, i think..

What I said applies to San Brerubin as well.
