I'm on my way to getting sloshed and the tryptophan has got me down but not out. Hopefully the beer, wine and liquor will help me deal with a table full of family and friends who are conservative Republicans. At least we can all laugh at my parents' stories about they times they almost killed us.

How are y'alls Thanksgivings going?

It was alright. Family left so it's pretty much over. Now I have a shitload of papers to write. The best thing about today is that it's bitterly cold outside; first snowfall too. Neat.

Not for you, cloggie!

And yes, it is nice to finally have the cold snap arrive a day before the holidays - definately prepares you for winter-ish festivities. I'm avoiding all thoughts of work until at least tomorrow.

You're right. I don't think it is as big as in the United States, I don't know anyone who does something for Thanksgiving, same for me.

Happy Thanksgiving.

I have posted a random member's picture.

Turns out that this might not have been the brightest of ideas.

And Ken - don't think that because you bumped one of my threads I find you any more amusing than I already do. Your attempt at humor by being random can be so easily duplicated that it quickly loses any sort of value as entertainment. Get a fucking sense of humor.

I'm not a comedian.

Christ, that's even worse. If you were a comedian, you'd just be subpar. As anything else, you're just boring.

Well this was a stupid thread to bump, I must say.

I despise people that constantly refer to a foodstuff and act funny when they do so. The Talking Pie is the only one who can do that and make it funny, in my experience.

Everyone loves The talking pie... majority of the members choose too considering the word 'pie' is in his username. =P kidding.
