I just started guitar. What songs do you think would be easiest to play on guitar? I'm not limiting this to The Offspring, try other bands. I know this has beeen done before but I'm too lazy to search for it.

Led Zeppelin is a band and I have no idea who "yes" is by.

Yes is another band. The first song I learned was "Brain Stew" by Green Day.

Avril Lavigne songs are very easy, good way to practice.

But Brain Stew was from when they were good. Ok then, the other song I learned was Dammit by blink-182.

I like that song. Okay, maybe I'll try Greenday but only old stufff. Their new stuff sucks.

I think you should start with Voodoo Child by Hendrix, it's a pretty easy song to play once you get the hang of it. If that isn't up your alley, try Dazed and Confused by Zeppelin. But seriously, just play Nirvana and Green Day songs.

Too common. i want to do something different. Everybody that has been playing for awhile in my class is playing songs by them and frankly, I'd like to do something different.

If you're just starting out and want to learn easy songs, different is not a good idea. When you get better, that's when you try different stuff.

The first few songs I learned how to play in guitar class:

Nirvana - Polly
Beatles - Hide your love away
Beatles - Paperback Writer

shit. Can't remember any more... Actually, that says a lot about the "easiness" of those songs.

That doesn't mean anything. Like I said before, he had it coming.

The temple leaders wanted him dead, but didn't have the power to do it. They brought him to many judges (even herod), but none of them saw anything wrong with him. So on passover the jews took him captive.

This is probably all incorrect becuase I got it all from that musical jesus christ superstar. Ironically the only black man in that movie is judas.

The temple leaders thought that he wanted to take power of the temple. Also he was diver ting attention away from them. They just wanted to stay in power.

It's not really a popular song, but "All the Time" by Green Day is one of the easiest songs I know. And no. I will not post the tabs. They're really easy to find anyway.
