I thought it would be nice to have a conversation about Enver Hoxha. Most of you probably don't know much to him.

I am a member of a former-hoxhaite party myself. So I've had some opportunity to read his works. Although not nearly enough.

I do agree with his stance on women for example (that nothing should stand in the way of their rights), he was accurate on the future of the Soviet Union and the People's Republic of China. And he was correct on their form of revisionism as well.

I do dislike his unquestionable support of Stalin, I do think he handled the religious question poorly. I also think he was incorrect on Marxism-Leninism-Maoism.

But I must admit I have only read very little and am not fully capable of giving a very deep going analyses. What are your thoughts?

I think you're an elitist fuck! ;)

I have no idea who he is. But yeah, about the womens' rights...totally.

hehe, whenever I find something online that I don't know, I usually check wikipedia.org and then pretend that I've known about it all along. Just a helpful hint in elitism.

Enver Hoxha was the leader of socialist albania. He developed his own kind of socialism so to speak, as being against both the USSR and China. However he was never popular like Tito because while criticizing both Russia and China he did maintain a very hardline form of economic socialism.

Outside of communist circles I suppose he's basically left the history circles.
