Somone at work randomly gave me one and I haven't had one in years. I forgot how much fun just playing catch with them is. Everyone should have one. They're wonderful!

Why make a thread about anything? To dicuss the issue of bouncy balls from child hood memories to present day rekindling.

Does one have to write an abstract at the start or annex of every single thread on why the thread is justified now?

Humm, brings back very bad memories in my case. My brother had one a few years ago. He got as obsessed as you're probably gonna get with bouncing that thing all around the house. I remember the noise used to annoy the hell out of me, 'till one day the ball just dissapeared. I swear i had nothing to do with it lol. So anyways, excuse me if i don't share in your love for bouncy balls.

By adding "I mean, figure it out asshole" cancels out your "i refuse to communicate with you", retard. And yes, please leave this awesome thread. You just can't defend yourself, and since nobody else is defending you, you stop communicating with me. Stop crying, little child.

This will last 2 minutes. He'll pwn you and you'll go on one of your pissy fits.

I always lose the bouncy balls either by whipping them at cars driving by (It's so cool! They bounce back so you can throw it at another car) or just plain losing them.

CO1 and W:[NiT], she's only 10. She is allowed to be an idiot - I was worse at the age of even 15. Even when I first joined this BBS back at the end of February this year. For once, try and give her a break.

Well its not that surprising. Most people here, like you said, are only in their late teens. Very few people here are over 20. Although the creator of this thread is 21...

You mean those rubber ones that jump like freaks? I bought one two years ago, just for the hell of it. It killed boredom back in Germany.

Or are bouncing balls those silly ones you sit on and bounce?

Pfft... like the fun passtimes of childhood just stop being awesome when you hit a certain age. Shit, I'll play with bouncy balls and sit down infront of a NES and happily waste the day. And come on, swings and slides are only abandoned by adults because they're too damn small to go on once you hit a certain age. Well, that and you get arrested for suspected paedophilia if you hang around children's playgrounds, but oh well.

Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesus, I love swings to death. It used to be a huge obsession of mine when I was small. And I still obsess over them. So I go and swing with friends when there are no kids. Or sneak to playgrounds at night and drink to feel less silly and swing and get sick and oh man. Swings rule.

Sorry, got carried away.

Swings are good... but round-abouts are the real killer.

Remember those things? You all stand in the middle and someone runs round the edge pushing you as fast as possible. When you get off, your as dizzy as hell.

Try a ride on that with a belly full of cheap scrumpy cider :D

Ooh...I loved the swings. Except once when my dad pushed me too hard and I came flying off and landed on my back. Ouch. I was fine though, no major problems, after a few days I could move more normally.

But still, they were great fun.

I have atleast 40. No exxageration. I was stoned, and found a gumball machine that dispensed bouncy balls of all different colors, textures, and designs for 25 cents. So, I exchanged paper money for quarters. My pockets were bulging with my new balls.
Same thing happened to me, but I lost a good amount of them.

I just have to agree that swings rock everybody. Whenever my friends and I have a free hour or so at college we go down to the park and play on everything. We have such fun.

And bouncy balls are amazing. There's one still in the gutter of our house that's been there since I was about 11. It's probably alive by now.

fun times!! i love the swings....we used to have some in our backyard but then it became unsafe and they had to go. i love to go out and swing on them and just think of things....its just so fun and euphoric. and don't get me started on bouncy balls. i can play with one for hours and not get bored at all. i love them!! i lose most of the ones i get though....i have one or two around here somewhere. and the round-abouts....i remember those. around and around and around until you were so dizzy it was fun to get off and close your eyes. oh man...childhood ruled.
