']Move to Manchester??? are you crazy? That place is a shit hole. Move to Nottingham or London.hmmmm...in theory a good idea, but I've only been to Nottingham a couple of times, and both visits were day trips,so I don't know if I want to live there.I would love to live in London, but it would be way too expensive!Plus Manchester hasa good music scene and the reason I am moving is because I want to start/join a band.(I sing.)

[popple]
10-24-2004, 02:08 PM
Yeah good point. I wish the music scene in Nottingham was more lively, but we do have Rock City which is one of the best venues in the country :D

Ahhh right cool, so where do you live?!

I have the privilege (yeah right) of living in Littlehampton....or LA as its referred to by the local primitives.

I'd take Manchester over London or Nottingham though, for the reasons given beforehand - failing that, Brightons a pretty lively place to stay.

Stoffey

Chris: Ohh wow you are literally 5 mins or so away from me then! I have probably seen you/walked past without even knowing!

I think you're being a little close minded there ;) Im talking about the place, not who populates it and what they get upto - thats none of my business

Well it sure as hell ain't cheap down south I can tell ya! But you probably knew that anyway.Yeah,if it wasn't so expensive,London would be my first choice!Don't know if I am moving now:( .Spoke to the store manager of T.K.Maxx,where I am supposed to be starting a job and it turns out the job is a Xmas job that COULD lead to a permanent job.I was told it was definately permanent. SO SICK of being arsed around.Don't think I will find somewhere to live in time to start a Xmas job now,so he said phone him either when I have somewhere to live or if I don't find anywhere ring after Xmas incase they still have vacancies.WHAT A LOAD OF SHIT.Think I will start applying to other places as I don't want to work for someone that disorganised.
Sorry .Rant over.

Chris

aww that just sucks especially with the misleading job placement :( (TK MAXX is pretty good for cheap and neato clothes mind!) All I can say is grab an xmas job locally and then start afresh the next year, wipe the slate clean so to speak and have a good think about how to sort everything out, plan it all and then take your best shot
