How well can you drive and if you do what do you drive.

Good enough to have not killed myself yet. Yet.

I'm alright I guess. I've had one speeding ticket, 45euros.

I always drive in my parents cars; Renault Scenic and a Dodge Ramvan. I used to drive a LOT in my mom's CitroŽn BX, but she sold that to my sister not too long ago. I drove to south of France with the BX, 16 hours of driving, really cool to do with some friends.

All my friends and relatives say I drive really good, in fact, I'm awesome at driving.

I don't have my driving licence yet but I'm rather schumi-esque

I can't drive yet, but I'm practicing with video games. Specifically Crazy Taxi and Burnout.

I can drive perfectly fine. which makes it VERY frustrating it took me FIVE times to pass my driving exam. *shrugs* performance anxiety is gay, but not a fun thing to be bothering you.

I don't have a car, but my mother drives a Volkswagen Passat TDI

(can you tell I chose my mom's car? we have it in the same colour as on the picture, but unfortunately we have an estate, which is way less elegant) & my dad drives a Chrystler le Baron.

both automatics, which makes driving just too fucking easy, to the point it's boring.

I driven my mates car but I don't own one yet, I get my licence in 3months :D.

Five? Wow, were you too nervous? I was really nervous but I passed the first time, I only made one mistake but corrected it soon enough.
It took me two times to pass for my theory though, first time I got 8/50 and second time I got 6/50.

I did theory in the days you could only get 4/50. passed it the first time (3/50), then failed my driving exam two times (second time it wasn't my fault & I filed a complaint, but they didn't do anything with it. my examinator actually broke the traffic rules about three times, it was ridiculous), broke my leg, had to wait to recover three months, had to redo my theory (it only lasts a year, as you know), failed theory exam (apparently the questions change every year. ;p I had 7/50. in those days you could already have 6/50), passed theory exam (2/50), then the third time I did my driving exam I almost passed out from nervosity, the fourth time I stopped caring, the fifth time I had to the utter NERD-exam. I passed the fucking NERD-exam.

I would say I drive well, I've never gotten a ticket or caused an accident, I don't speed or cut people off for the heck of it, but I do take corners fast and I don't take crap, I hate hate hate people that drive under the speed limit.

I failed getting my L's twice (cause I was nervous) but I got my P's first go (heh, but only just).

I learnt to drive in my mums manual van, and I now drive my shitty old 1980's Mazda which is an auto but I shift the first gears manually cause they're fucked (my car has a sweet sound sytem tho =P). My first car was quite a decent Mazda but some idiot rear ended me, and it was entirely his fault, bastard, I liked that car.

Quite good, I think. My mum says I drive like someone who has stolen a car.
Oh well.

I'm a show off driver, I'm the type of person who will drive with one hand and do Tricks and dodge in an out of traffic doing 100mph.

I don't even have a license. Growing up in NYC does that to you, because it is completely 100% unnecessary to own a car there. The public transportation system gets you anywhere if you're smart.

Now I'm getting a little older (22nd birthday coming up in a month), and I live away from home at college, so I need to learn how to drive quick! It's a little scary though, I gotta admit.

I guess I drive well. I have never had an accident that I have been at fault in. I drive a Suzuki Sierra, so I don't get speeding tickets. I think the police feel sorry for me when they see me doing a bit over the limit, cause if there is a hill, I can assure you that it wont be rocketing up there.

Have you had any sort of training for that? Can you talk on a mobile and drive at the same time?

Nope no training at all.

I don't drive, and I'd find it absolutely perfect to never have to either (ie have a chauffer or be able to afford a whole lot of cabs).

Not that I won't learn it if I need to at a point in life, just that I still don't need to, as I have enough people who can drive me around.

Although, since I'm a Serb, and given my driving genetics... Heaven save everyone once I get into a car.

Idiot

In England, learning to drive is way too expensive, and its also a hell of a lot harder to pass than it used to be, also a lot harder than in most countries. Thats because nearly all driving agencies/instructors have turned into money grabbing bastards.

I totally can't afford to right now. But I don't really need to - it'd just be nice.

i drive pretty well. i do have quite a quick/bad temper, so i get annoyed with people, especially those who drive too slowly or too fast. i'm sure the speed limit is there for a reason. but i mainly try to be calm and reasonable, so yes, i'd say i'm a good driver. i have a blue 1972 beetle. my car > everyone else's cars put together.

I can see JaG seeing an old lady crossing the street very slowly, and accelerating.

hehehe. unfortunately acceleration is not one of my cars strong points.

I'm a decent enough driver. Well, I've never gotten in an accident. I drive very fast and very recklessly, though.

And this is my car...

I can drive. Not legally of course, because i'm only 15. But it's a definate achievement. (apart from backing up into the garage door, but that was an accident that must be forgotten.) Anyway, the car is a blue rover for now, but as soon as i pass my test, it's magically turned into a Corsa!!!

TheUnholyNightbringer

You ride a BMX, you don't drive one.

Actually, I think it's more correct to say you drive a bike. It's a common misconception.

I'm 16, so i'm to young to have a driver's licence for a car, but i do have a diver's licence for a tractor. i've been driving a tractor since i was 11.

You drive a bike forth with your own muscle-power, hence, I'd argue that you drive a bike moreso than a car.

HornyPope
11-11-2005, 11:29 AM
It's public roads. How much of a challenge is it really to determine your skill? I've dodged cars and avoided accident-situations maybe twice when other people with slower reflexes would have fell fictim to a crash, but frankly it hardly makes one any "good".
