I try to think of myself as an open-minded, worldy young member of generation Y, or whatever we've been dubbed this week. I like to imagine myself as non-judgemental, as seeing all peoples and races as equals. But no matter how hard I try, I can't help but feel, with mounting certainty every time I read something new about them, that there (http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20051117/od_uk_nm/oukoe_uk_japan_radish) is (http://mdn.mainichi-msn.co.jp/waiwai/news/20051027p2g00m0dm018000c.html) something (http://www.japander.com/japander/schwarz.htm) very, (http://www.snopes.com/risque/kinky/panties.htm) very (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tentacle_rape) wrong (http://www.bergen.org/AAST/Projects/ChinaHistory/rape.html) with (http://www.nr.titech.ac.jp/~jonoe/Japanese/Member/Staff/Jonoe/karaoke.GIF) the (http://www.amnesty.org.uk/action/nw/wan/action/comfort.shtml) Japanese (http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B0009PLM9O.01.LZZZZZZZ.jpg).

Seriously, the Japanese need to be Holocausted. There's no other alternative. They're just fucking creepy!

What an incredible discovery!

Seriously though, all I have to say about this is: NO FUCKIN' SHIT.

We all know about the pr0n, about the panties, about the anime, about the fascination to girls looking 12 yrs old, most of us know about kancho, have read stories told by the legendary Japanese School Teacher aka Azrael (google for the website, this Afro-American guy teaches English to kids in Japan - hilarious stuff).

The ironic thing, though, is that Japanese culture is very strongly affected by outside cultures, especially American.

I understood half of Veras post, the panties and such. Even so, I strongly believe the nips need Holocausting.

The radish story was the impetus behind this thread. Originally I was only going to link that, but then I got carried away.

Holy shit, someone's thought this before?! I never knew that!!! It's almost as if my topics are either things that I personally find interesting or subject matter that I believe would spawn a good conversation instead of a personal mission to introduce Vera to new ideas and seek her approval!

Japan's culture is definitely a lot more... experimental in matters of sex. I lived there, and looking at porn on the train is no biggie.

If you sneeze, though, you will get the dirtiest looks.....

But yeah - it's really a minority that is into things like the ones posted. Or drunk people, since in Japan, doing things while drunk is perfectly acceptable. I know this firsthand.

I agree they're weird as hell, but they do have their food going for them.

I would just like to remind this BBS that if there is, in fact, a holocaust, as Sin Studly suggests, I am not Japanese.

Still, I love love love them Japanese.

glad i'm not alone. :D

looking at japanese design (print, textiles, interior, etc) is kinda like getting oral, but without the whole taking your pants off part.
