Whats the point of putting up Christmas decorations? I think it's pointless. You put them up for a month and then you have to take them down. I just don't get in to the Holiday sprit. Christmas songs sucks. Most Christmas movies sucks. The Shopping for Presents suck. I just hate the whole thing.

But do you like getting presents?

I like the decorations and the shopping and stuff...but I'm a bit tired of it. It starts too early...and working retail kinda kills it.

Wishomie must have found out Santa wasn't real at too young of an age.

Pretty soon Christmas in July won't be just an expression. 'Tis sad.

We shall call it "Christmas 2: This Time It's Not Christmas 1!", and It shall be on June 25th. It will eventually overshadow Easter.

No I do not. I never get what I want anyways.

Before I moved to a real neighborhood, we'd leave the Christmans decorations up all year and just turn them on right before Christmas. Now the damn "Home Owners Association" that are all hardocre Nazis and have a specific date that you can put them up and have to take them down. It's gay, but I can see why they have to do it.

I like decorations. Most of all I like putting up the tree, even though my hands get covered in sap.

haha. I found out during one of my family's annual Christmas parties. Every year since god knows when my Tata (grandpa for all you gringos) dressed up as Santa Clause. Then one year, I found him in the bathroom changing into his out fit. 'Twas quite entertaining.

I'm only a half-jew, I celebrate both Christmas AND Hanukkah! Which makes me infinitely more lucky than all of you! ...Except for the whole penis thing. =(

I don't remember a point when I did believe in Santa Claus. Maybe it's because I live in an apartment that does not, in fact, have a chimney.

I stopped believing in Santa when I was like 5. My neighbor just found out the truth this year and she's 15. I don't know how she made it through school without finding out.

I found out around 8 or so when I just happened to stumble upon the presents in a closet.

ooo, the title makes me think of good things. burning fireplaces, two puppies playing under the christmas tree, while I desperately try to decorate it without stepping on the dogs & without them knocking the thing over. my grandmother's green & red paper bags of sweets: walnuts, a mandarin (that I used to call a mommyrin), raisins & sometimes some chocolate.

*sigh* & so much more. but I can't possibly describe the atmosphere.

Ok, the joke at the beginning of my thread has totally been overlooked. Have any of you heard of Gary Glitter and what's happening to him?
