What happened to the world I knew? What happened to boys playing in their front yards with their neighbors, playing war, arguing over who got shot or who didn't? What happened to girls playing with their dolls and discussing how boys were gross? Where did all the damnable things come from? Girls dressing like sluts, boys trying to act gangster, bragging about the guns and shit they do, girls trying to get laid at thirteen... damn it. How kids are turning into fatasses watching TV and playing videogames, how people are dating over the Internet, how the world we know has died. How society has turned into something else. How my childhood has become some sort of halcyon dream. How... how I want to be back then, with no worries, no problems, no realization of how damnable was the world I lived in. Where there were no negative influences.

I'm so emo. NO! Im not. It's just that it was cool back then, you know?

I can agree on that. I'm just glad I didn't get a computer until I was 12. Kids these days that are around 7 or 8, are really going to grow up with computers. I guess most people here did as well... but it wasn't the same. The internet is much more popular than it ever was and is still getting more popular. Basically what I am trying to say is... kids are going on the computer at a younger age now and what seems to be like, spending less time being a kid, going outside, and doing all the regular things any normal kid would.

Yeah, when I was young, here, in my town, we took our bikes and went for a fight: police against terrorists... Amazing, good times...

Now they just play Counter Strike on line...

When I meet my old friends we remember those times and have a really good time... What will the now-a-days boys and girls remember? "My computer was faster than yours" "Oh, no, man, mine was better..."

And I don't blame them. On the internet you don't have the worry of being beaten up, you're not totally freezing, and you don't have your money stolen.

I remember when I played hockey in the schoolyard(?) with my family. My feet would always be sooo cold that I had to stop. In the summer, I'd play soccer or any summer sports with my friends.
Yeah, that was cool. I actualy got a computer when I was like 7 and it didn't prevent me of doing all that. Hmm. It's true that it was the computer of my parents, I had access to it, though.

I miss those games of Freeze Tag, Man Hunt, and Capture the Flag. Lauren and I playing Barbies. Our innumerable fights, including chair-throwing. Hell, my sister and I used to play Barbies together. Before any one was allowed to touch Daddy's new toy; the computer. All the neighborhood kids playing together at the Elementary School's playground. And boys were gross. I miss those times, but they're long gone.

Seriously, today, in a high school setting, look around, take in what you see. What is this world coming to? I mean, between girls, catfights erupt, just because. Theres no reason. And some of them are over 42 year old Internet boyfriends. MySpace has become a commonly used term among teenagers.
"Hey, did you MySpace yet tonight? This hot guy totally added me!" Ugh.

the problem is too many christians think that they need to populate the country, so if we eliminate the christians, boom, no problems in the world at all. just think about it.

I don't think it's as much the way the world is changing but the charm and once someone or something tears you away from it, it's gone in the blink of an eye. You probably don't know what I mean but, oh well. That's just my perspective on it.
