Meh

1. Static age-The Misfits (probably the best album I've bought since From here to infirmary-Alkaline trio)

2. Maybe I'll Catch fire-Alkaline trio (go out and buy this now)

3. Fresh fruit for rotting vegetables-Dead Kennedys (fucking AMAZING album)

4. Hypnotize-SOAD (so much better than Mezmerize)

5. Walk among us-The Misfits (not as good as Static age but still pretty good)

1- Rx Bandits - The Resignation (i've had this cd on my computer since it was released, but only got around to buying it this year, takes a couple of listens to get into, but utterly phenomenal from the genius of RxB)

2- Ima Robot - Ima Robot (magnificent electrock and roll)

3- Little Barrie - We Are Little Barrie (beautiful)

4- Alkaline Trio - Crimson (not at all the trio's best work, but still one of the greatest releases of 2005)

5- Mclusky - Mclusky Do Dallas (such a shame they've split)

Apparently they're the only band Steve Albini really liked and such that he's produced so far.

And ocourse the following shall ensue:

my love is bigger than your love
we take more drugs than a touring funk band
sing it
my love is bigger than your love
sing it
my love is bigger than your love
sing it

my band is better than your band
we've got more songs than a song convention
sing it
my love is bigger than your love
sing it
my love is bigger than your love
sing it

and we're all going straight to hell

my dad is bigger than your dad
he's got eight cars and a house in Ireland
sing it
my love is bigger than your love
sing it
my love is bigger than your love
sing it

when we gonna torch the restaurant?
sing it
when we gonna pay the guide dog?
sing it
my love is bigger than your love
sing it
my love is bigger than your love
sing it

and we're all going straight to hell

This thread is much more appropriate for me, seeing how I'm an uncultured piece of shit who buys albums way too late and almost never listens to new music when it actually comes out.

1.) Sponge- New Pop Sunday
2.) The Cooper Temple Clause- See This Through and Leave
3.) Belle & Sebastian- If You're Feeling Sinister
4.) Minus the Bear- Menos el Oso
5.) Lucky Boys Confusion- The Red Tape Outtakes

Hmm. Actually those last two did come out this year. No way in hell I could ever find 8 more though.

I know I suck, but I didn't start getting into older (read: good) or non-pop-punk music until early this year. The first 3 are a tie for first.

1. The Clash - London Calling
1. Primus - Frizzle Fry
1. Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon
4. Led Zeppelin I
5. Primus - Sailing Seas of Cheese

At The Drive-In - Relationship of Command
Metallica - Master of Puppets
Judas Priest - Jugulator (downloaded)
The Clash - London Calling (sent to me, lost all tracks, gonna buy soon)
Supergrass - I Should Coco

Tiger Army aren't that great...theres a few song i like from that cd, but on alot of them the melody isn't strong enough to overcome the overall boringness and lack of driving force in the songs.they have a few good songs though, i'd say at least half the songs on that cd are worth hearing.
