Yes, I think I'm cheating on Dream Theater with them. They're a semi-new progressive metal band I just discovered that deserve their own thread. Just listen to these songs and tell me what you think.

The album you sent me was great, but quite honestly, I couldn't get into them nearly as much. I still think Dream Theater, and some songs from Symphony X, Ayreon, and Sonata Arctica are better.

You're talking about this band not Warmen right? I found the melodies in this album much more intriguing than a lot of DT and SX stuff. There was still something lacking in the vocals even thought I like Andromeda's singer's voice better.

BTW, did you listen to the Warmen album? It was overdone in some places but it was still good.

I started listening to Warmen then decided I was too tired for instrumental stuff and went to bed. The vocals were just too... flat? for Andromeda for me. I don't know, I can't pin point it, but they just didn't click. It took me a while to get into progressive metal to begin with, so maybe I'll like them more later. They're still a lot better than most bands.

Yeah, I know what you mean about the vocals being flat. The singer just doesnt have the same range and talent as James Labrie or the SX singer. He just didn't stand out much but when you listen to him carefully, he's pretty good.

How was the Labrie album? I haven't felt like listening to the whole thing yet.

It was okay, it was just lacking some of the depth of actual DT, but I loved the emphasis on the vocals. Just didn't have as much of a flow if you know what I mean.

Well... I don't know why, but I just don't like it. Like Dream Theater, it in my opinion just doesn't sound "real". The vocals are just "there". They don't really do anything for the songs. And the rest... I don't know. It's not bad, but not really good either. Hm... Anyway, that's just my opinion.

Well it was better the second time around, but I still can't get into the vocals. By the way, I was never able to log into that forum.

Aww... :( Will a couple of Manowar songs make you feel better? Here (http://s53.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1X1MHXZLY1XED3QSQTC8JXZ53C). Because I don't know if you ever downloaded those songs I recomended... bastard. Anyway, I wanna know what people think about it. Um... right, it's a zip file with seven songs. (Bridge of death, Guyana, Mountains, Sting of the bumblebee, The crown and the ring, The march and Today is a good day to die). Some of them aren't really typical power metal songs.

Aww... :( I think it's a damn good song though. I wonder why the quality is so crappy during the intro... it's like that when I play it on my stereo too.

All About Eve, seriously, in a fist fight (because that's the only thing that really counts), who do you think would win?

These Conan-rockers who slay infidels for fun...

...or these pussys who can't do anything besides being all faggoted and...pussy... and... crap.
