I had my headphones plugged in, but wasn't using them. I kept hearing some sund though. Music, or people talking or something. I had no idea where it came from. Then I put on my headphones, and found out it came from there. It freaked me out. I didn't have any websites open besides this one, so it couldn't be a site with music. I got really really confused. Then I figured maybe I was accidently hearing a bit of convo from someone elses skype or something, picking up a wrong signal. So I logged off Skype. The sound was still there. I started freaking out and thinking I was paranoid. All that was open now was this window and MSN. And then I saw what was going on. MSN has a banner with a video and sound in it. WTF?????

Yeah it's a fucking cock sucker. Also I hate weather bug. And it randomly makes bug sounds.

Fuck I hate weather bug. What a retarded piece of software, I have a fucking window.

Can't you just get rid of that?

I hate things with sound anyway. Websites too. Especially if the Mute-button isn't very visable.

I've tried. Fucking weatherbug. I just end the process whenever I restart my laptop.

Annoying. But you never restart anyway, so once you get rid of it, it's gone for a while.

True, and I've concluded this might not be the healthiest practice for my laptop ever.

Hmmm maybe. A lot of people seem to do it though.

They are getting more annoying with time. I still cant believe that ads "walk" or "crawl" pass my monitor while I'm fucking trying to READ SOMETHING

I hate the banners for the talking emoticons. You accidentally move your mouse over it and it calls out "HELLOOOOOOO!!!!". I want to hurt whoever came up with that idea.

Ugh, and the one that says "SAY SOMETHING". I had those banners turned off in Zonealarm, but it blocked other animated things too, so I have to put up with it now. Grrrr.

Spork, you can denfinitely change that and allow other animations to work.

I know how to, by disabling banner ads and enabling animations, but some sites get messed up when banners are blocked, and the like.

I hate it when that happens. Although it reminds me of some weird happenings I've had in band practice. I swear to god, if I turned my guitar down, that my amp would pick up sounds from another practice room in the same studio - it was the weirdest fucking thing. I never got why it did that.

they were probably picking up radio transmissions. my friend once picked up a police car transmitting the location of a killer on his radio

AIM does that a lot too, with movie previews 'n' such. It happens at random times, too. I still can't figure out the whole pattern of it.

or don't use software that embeds advertizements.

I did on my PC, but I was too lazy to do it on my laptop when I installed a new version. I probably will soon though.
