Most of the time they're alright (I have four of 'em). There are days when I could do without them, though.

I get a long with my sister pretty well. She's 23, so she's 5 years older than me. We argue sometimes, but most of the time we get a long pretty well.

I have a 16 year old sister, and she's my best mate.

If you met her you'd understand why.

I also have a 10 year old sister...whose a pain in the arse, but can be hell sweet when she wants to be.

I have a brother who is 19 years younger than me, and gods he can be a pain in the butt. I am so glad I moved out of home before he was born.

My brother's three years older than me. As I was younger I hated him like nothing else, but only 'cause he always beated me up for nothing. But since I'm 16 he's my best friend

I'm the youngest (16) of 3 brothers. Chris is 18, and the infamous Steven Shaw is 22.

I think everything generally improves when you grow up a little. We used to fight too and now we're awesome friends. And when the other person moves out and doesn't come home that often you realise you love them too. Happened to me, too.

We used to fight a lot when I was like 12 en he was 14, but now we get along very well.
It's the first year he's only at home at the weekends though, baah, I wish the university was closer to Ostend, it's all quiet and boring at home now during the week.
But it does make the weekends nicer

Ive got an older brother, 2 years older than me (18). And we almost fight all the time. Accept when he wants me to go shopping with him. And I am so nice to go along, even though I hate shopping. And then we like eachother for 2 days. and the bitching starts again. I hate it that he is so much stronger than me. He lifts me up and won't let me down, walks around the house with me on his shoulders. ARGH. We are starting to get along very well now though, I like that. Its not always fights anymore.

I have a younger brother, he's going to be 6 on Christmas Eve. We're eight years apart so for most of my childhood I was an only child. My parents and I still consider me the only child. My brother is an ass, but what 6 year old isn't? We live in a pretty small house as well so if we don't get a new one before I enter 10th grade he'll be bunking with me in my room >.< I guess that's not as bad as my friend Caysi, she has a 7 year old half sister and a 3 year old half brother, both of which share a room about the size of mine with Caysi...Hell, I barely have enough space for myself in my room Caysi has like a corner to herself the rest of the room is filled with her siblings junk. I keep telling my mom she should have named my brother Damien or fuckin' Kevin rather than Cameron haha.

Oh yeah, and I am an only child. In a way, I am grateful, but it was hellish lonely when I was a child. Still is really,as some ppl make friends with their siblings when they get older,so I am missing out on having some potentially great friends.:(

Eccentric Sara

Hmmm...I suppose there are advantages and disadvantages to being an only child. If I did have siblings, they would probably be more hostile towards me than ppl were at school. I have close friends. That is enough for me.

wow, i pity everybody who "hates" any family member.
hate is such a strong word. i can understand it if
siblings act annoying sometimes (i have two brothers
myself), but HATING them is too extreme for me to
ever understand or imagine.
i love my family, although they are sometimes really
nasty torwards me.

My brother is two years younger than me, and we get on, but we're not close. We know hardly anything about each other, but it's kind of nice that way.

My sister is ten, and she can be absolutely horibble, but she can be adorable as well. You just have to put up with it.

I think I saw Steven Shaw a few months ago (when I went to see Clarkesville at the Little Civic). I was going to go and say hi, but then he disappeared.

in our case it was slightly insane. we have *really* physically hurt each other. he once threw a Swiss pocketknife against the side of my head, with field hockey he managed to dislocate my arm one fine day &... I guess I never did much to physically hurt him, simply because I'm a 5.5 year younger GIRL. I always succeeded at anything he originally tried, which must've been horrible for him, too. I once was so scared to get hit & bruised by him again, I jumped of the stairs. not just a few steps, the whole stairs. I was so incredibly afraid of that guy. luckily I just sprained my ankle. badly, but it was alright.

I guess the age difference was pretty big & we never quite knew how to handle that & how to bridge that gap. it's strange, when your brother hits puberty & you & you don't understand, or know exactly what's going on. then, when he's groing out of it & it's your turn, he feels he never could've been *that* annoying. now the gap is getting smaller & smaller, since we're simply growing older & older & lead lives much more similar to each other than ever before. we're both now much more rational, poor, moneyless students with a bunch of love-issues. we now understand each other much better. the fact, that I'm not a suicidal, fight-picking, hopeless, depressed piece of crap anymore must help a lot, too.
