View Full Version : Christmas Gifts

I am really surprised that nobody made this thread this year.
(please, please, dont let me look like an idiot now by finding a thread I couldn't find :E)
The question is:
What are you getting your family/friends for Christmas?

We don't celebrate Christmas, but I made my brother a card with pictures in it (well, more like an album than a card?) and I bought my mom cell-phone jewerly.
And one person of this BBS is getting a package, extra late birthday present + Christmas gift, but I'd rather not tell what it is?!

Your turn.

I can't remember actually. All I know is that I've spent over 100 on just 6 people. =\

Let's see...

I got my mom eeyore pjs and all the Harry Potter books. heh, it sounds like I was shopping for an 8 year old ;p. I got my dad a bottle of Corazon tequila. And I got my best friend some christmas ornaments that relate to some inside jokes, and 2 martini glasses (1 with a broadway design and another with a music design). I love when all my friends are like "let's not do christmas stuff this year, it's too expensive"....yay.

In my country Christmas isn't celebrated now. First will be New Year. And it's soon. And I don't know what to present my family. It's strange but I know what to present my friends.

I only bought presents for my parents.

My mum: I bought her a necklace that she chose.
My dad: I couldn't find anything for him, and his birthday was the 20th, so it makes it really hard finding presents so close. I found a keyring that's a thermometer and a compas, and I also bought him some chocolate-coated maccadamia nuts. That's all. It's not much, but I just don't know what he would want. And I'm almost broke.

Me too, they're like little globs of tasty fat. If you ever venture to my part of the world I'll shout you some.

my favorite kind is the plain kind with garlic salt. oh so good.

although they're super delicious in chocolate or just in cookies.

Ditto, I prefer them without chocolate. I like chocolate, but maccadamias are best savoury, in my opinion. Then again, I generally prefer savoury things to sweets.
