No one added me. So I'm on here drinking myself into a coma. Though I probably won't get that far.

I don't really like alcohol that much for some reason. Maybe it's because I'm a pussy and can't take the burn of all of that hard liqour or something.

the_GoDdEsS
01-01-2006, 04:08 PM
The burn is one of the exciting things about it.

TheUnholyNightbringer
01-01-2006, 04:09 PM
Oh, me too. I'm drinking spirit and mixer. Just quite a lot of spirit is all.

I dunno. Maybe it's just a taste I have yet to acquire.

Yu-Gi-Oh pwns Magic, The Gathering.

Actually, I wouldn't know.

Wow, that was stupid.

Magic: The Gathering started to suck the second they released the Mirrodin expansion. However, it still pwns Yu-Gi-Oh.

just before lunch was ending one day, my friend and i went to class to drop our stuff off so we could have a snowball fight, and we saw two nerdy kids playing yu-gi-oh! and they're my age, 14/15!

i made a joke about that being for third graders...it was great.

lol. I wouldn't know. I've never played Magic, although I used to play Yu-Gi-Oh quite often. I was such a nerd.

Honestly, I gotta say that I respect those who can unapologetically say that they enjoy games that are commonly associated with aging virgins and pathetic losers.

It really sounds like I'm making a backhanded comment/insult here, but I'm dead serious. It's good that you like whatever the fuck you want without caring what others say...

Still, that shit is way too fuckin' boring for me.

A few years ago I was invited to my friends house for a party. Little did I know that it was a Magic party. I ended up watching tv in another room the entire time with whoever just lost. It sucked and basically turned me away from Magic forever.

lol. I'm so pathetic. I still have all of my Yu-Gi-Oh cards. ugh. And my old Pokemon cards. I should be punished severely. Who would like to have the honor of lashing me?

Wrong! It started sucking when they put out Mirage with the phasing ability and started explaining what each ability did on EVERY CARD! Why do they have to explain what Trample or First Strike mean on everything? That's what the instructions are for!

Anyways, I stopped playing probably freshman year of high school and sold all my cards for like $60.

They would've been worth more had I took the rares out and sold them separately but I couldn't be bothered.

Drummerguy123
01-01-2006, 08:35 PM
Yeah, I've got plenty of those. even though they are artificially "rare."

You're all insane for not liking Magic. Everything is wrong with this world. I'm gonna go slit my wrists with a piece of paper.

Basically, it was when Hasbro bought Wizards of the Coast, and tried to change Magic into a little kid's game, therefore taking out all strategy whatsoever.

Wanna swap? =P

Wow, Pokemon. It was so long ago, but I still remember it so well. My first card was a Diglett, which a friend gave to me. For the longest time, I had 5 cards, one of which was a fake Charmeleon. I only ever saw a foil Charizard once. Damn, those cards were expensive.

Nowadays, I occasionally play my Game Boy version of the game.

I used to have thousands of them and I don't know how I got that much. I guess someone gave to me. Playing with them was not the most enjoyable thing but collecting something has always been fun.

Am I just really old or really fortunate for having little to no idea about any of this shit?

I remember this game! All of my asian friends and I used to play it. I remember some relative of mine getting a really fucked up look on her/his face when I asked for "good magic cards" for christmas.

The Charizards were worth $80 back in the day, I don't think they're so much anymore though.

TheUnholyNightbringer

The really rare ones are worth loads now. Keep 'em all, they should raise in value in a while.

Phyrexian Dreadnought. 12/12, Trample. 1 colorless mana to play.

^ is that from any expansion after Scourge? If so, that card is dead to me.

I have like 15 black lotuses. Psych.

I used to play Magic but most of my friends were better than me. My decks were usually more random than strategic.

Omni
01-02-2006, 08:33 PM
Actually, I think it's from Alliances. My brother use to have a Black Lotus, and he threw it, along with the rest of his cards, away. I doubt any of you Non-Magic players will believe that ONE Black Lotus card is worth $1,600 (American)
