What's your favourite kind of cheese? Right now I kinda love the sharp crumbly ploughmans stuff, followed closely by blue-vein and danish feta.

Smoked cheese and sheep cheese are currently on top of the list.

I'm staying true to my country: Dutch cheese. Really old, or young, nothing in between.

I also love cheddar.

I've become lactose intolerant. :( But when my body decides to stop hating me for a few seconds (or when I have some Lactaid) I <3 brie.

I've only had a few different kinds of cheese in my life so I can't really say. America isn't really as cultured as other places when it comes to cheese. Out of the ones I've had, sharp cheddar's the best and Swiss is good on hoagies.

BATWT

What are hoagies? Despite the disgusting name are they good?

Hoagies, subs, grinders, uhh...what else do they go by? They're sandwiches that instead of bread come on a roll (similar to that of a Philly cheesesteak if you've ever had one). Normally they have lunchmeat, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and oil and vinegar. They're good if you get them done right.

My favourite cheese would be the cheese dip served at a local mexican restaurant here. No fucking clue what it is.

If it's cheese, I probably like it, but I always put provalogne (sp?) in my sandwiches.

There is nothing like a good camembert and some wine. The french aren't good at the culinary, but at least you get to wash that down with this.

Old (or extra old) cheddar, Havarti, Feta

I adore cheese in general and can't wait until I'm rich to be able to eat all the expensive stuff.

No one said we invented it. It was called Danish Feta because we made it our way. No one confused it with Greek Feta or had a danger of doing so.

Your nation, in it's typical ego-too-large way, just went nuts over it.

Havarti
Provolone
Feta
Cheddar
Mozzarella

I basically love any cheese but those are my favourite.

If it's being toasted, throw some extremely mature cheddar on. I'm talking the stuff that makes the roof of your mouth itch when you eat it. Great stuff.

Hrm. The Greeks did this over feta. The French did it over champagne and cologne. I think nothing more needs to be said concerning how Maria ended up such an insane narcissistic delusional freak.

wheelchairman
01-07-2006, 02:00 PM
Yeah, but Greece is not a great nation as yet, so feta represented a significant & sizable export, see?... danish or not, feta was to remain hellenic.
You do realize that Denmark is smaller than Greece in nearly every way? We benefitted more from the export than Greece must've. And it's not like we were preventing you from exporting it...

Sin Studly

No, it isn't. As a narcissist, it takes a real fucking freak to make me admit somebody has outstaged me in the delusional psychotic narcissist area.

The most curious thing about my taste in cheese is that I find all the types of generic cheese that are supposed to be bad to be very good, and I find all the fancy Euro kinds that are supposed to be good to be bad. I do enjoy swiss, but gimme some good ol' shitty mozzarella, jack, provolone, and muenster and I'll be set for life. None o' that Greek stuff that comes in cubes or Brie. And anything from any animal other than a moo-cow is straight out.

Mozzarella is good. Especially the the ones that come in little balls that you buy at the supermarket.
