Folks, today I walked into my local generic music and video outlet shop thing, equipped with a £15 voucher that I was determined to make use of; and by golly did I made use of it!

I am now the very chirpy owner of:
Spy Hard on DVD
Chopper on DVD
Mallrats on DVD, and
Withnail & I on DVD

All for £14.96. Now, come on, that's pretty darned impressive. Admit it!

So, what have you guys bought in the sales this year?

Resident Evil 4 on PS2
The Salmon of Doubt by Douglas Adams
Faith No More - Angel Dust (which I'm actually listening to right now)
Timesplitters 2 on PS2
The Kids in the Hall season 3 on DVD

Resident Evil 4 on PS2

What do you think of it? I love it. I don't normally *do* computer games, but I'm on my fourth game now, and it still hasn't grown old. Wait till you get the Infinate rocket launcher. OOohyeah.

I got a free Twix bar because I hid it under the other stuff I got so the cashier wouldn't see it. That is as good as a bargain I got. Saved 95 cents...

I like it a whole lot. I beat it through on normal with Leon and then beat Separate Ways a couple days later. I've unlocked the Chicago Typewriter and the Infinite Rocket Launcher, but I'm saving up for the first one. I haven't tried any of the other extras yet (except for about 2 minutes of Assignment Ada).

Queensryche Greatest Hits - £7 (but I had to buy it twice)

I'm sorry.

Battlefield 2 - £20

Is it better than the first enough to be worth buying?

Van Helsing - £9

Ha, that was the first movie I ever saw with a girl on a date. I want it just for the rememberance sake.

I'm not, I loved it.

I presume you're talking about 1942, so.. yes and no. The actual gameplay is much, much better, and so's the AI. But the number of maps is extreeeemely limited, and there's no campaign mode.

Ha, that was the first movie I ever saw with a girl on a date. I want it just for the rememberance sake.

Heh, yeah. It was pretty good but I hated the tacked-on romantic stuff. It should've just been a pure action-fest and Van Helsing and the chick should've hated each other.

That's what I thought. The thing I hated most about the movie was that the girl's dad of the other couple we were with came into the theater. Bleh.

umm. I spent $300 in Victoria's Secret that should have cost me at least $500. And $60 in Bath and Body Works that should have cost me $90.

The rest of the stuff I bought (J'Adore perfume, Coach bag, some clothes, etc) wasn't on any kind of sale. And amounted to like....$600 =\.

christ i spend a lot of money.

Only, of course, by virtue of the fact that I and everyone else on said bandwagon is absolutely correct when it comes to your stupidity.

You'll notice that nearly all 1337 agree with me when it comes to your stupidity. And yet I am not 1337.
