I'm actually intrigued at this.

1) When someone sends you a Private Message, do you have that thing that pops up telling you?

2) Do you ask for Read Receipts?

3) Do you CONFIRM Read Receipts?

4) If you do as for them, do you ever check if they've been confirmed?

The times I sent PM's, I asked for reciepts - but that was only because I just automatically click 'ok' on little boxes that appear on my screen (I really must stop doing that). I never checked

1) Yes, because Nina pointed out to me that I could turn it on, after she got tired of me never replying to PMs.

2) Only by accident.

3) I think so.

4) No, because I never intentionally ask for one.

The read receipts are retarded.

Same here.

almost exact same for me, except question #1 is a "no" for me. & I don't confirm the stuff, because they're so gay, I don't want to encourage it. but it happens sometimes, accidently of course.

I think the first one depends on whether the sender asks for a confirmation--it doesn't pop up otherwise. And "no" to the last three questions.

Yes, I have the pop-up. I don't ask for reciepts, but If requested, I accept. What's the point of them anyway?

1) When someone sends you a Private Message, do you have that thing that pops up telling you?

Yes, and I find it rather exciting.

2) Do you ask for Read Receipts?

I once tried to make it a point NOT to ask for them since I don't give a shit about them, then I realized that I didn't even care enough to make that effort or do anything but mash the "Enter" button repeatedly. So yeah, I ask for them by default.

3) Do you CONFIRM Read Receipts?

Not often.

4) If you do as for them, do you ever check if they've been confirmed?

Nevah.

2) Nope, maybe only by accident.

3) If I'm not gonna reply to it, I usually do, depends on my mood, really. If not, I don't.

4) Nope

1) When someone sends you a Private Message, do you have that thing that pops up telling you? Yes.

2) Do you ask for Read Receipts? No, it's annoying. Well, maybe once in a while if I *really* need to know whether the message has been read and I know the person won't respond.

3) Do you CONFIRM Read Receipts? Yes.

It doesn't let me send PM's without asking for them

platinumpt

1 - Yes I do, 'cause I never check my inbox. And I always receive an e-mail warning as well.

2 - Never.

3 - Only when I feel like it. Confirming a read receipt puts pressure on me to reply to the PM. So I rarely confirm it. That's also why I never ask for read receipts.

4 - It doesn't apply to my case.

so click "no"?

Answers to all of them are Yes except 4. I just press the enter key and the default option is selected whenever a message box comes up. I think checking read-receipts are pointless though.... really :/ I don't do PM-ing much really.
