I think defy you was a realy good song and it was kind of more seriuos and more hevier than the stuff they where making at the time like americana and conspiracy of one don't you think it would be good if they made an album now that sounded more like the song defy you instead of them turning more pop punky

it does sound more like ignition. i love the riff in it aswell, i would like 2 hear an album with that sound, but with some more i choose type songs thrown in, a mixture :D

It's a good song, but it sounds like Staind, and Offspring would be considered nu-metal.

Actually, they'd be considered alternative metal.

But, yeah, it's a good song. Some of it is kinda cheesy, though.

It would not be a pop album ... it would just be a more upbeat album than a darker almbum like the sef titled. I would like it if the next album had both upbeat songs and darker songs on it. That would be awesome

defy you was a good song, especially considering the time it came out. if the new album sounds more like that, it would be cool, because the song's a steady mix between their new stuff and their old stuff.

I like Defy You, but a whole album full of songs like that would be dull.

wouldn't it be based around Can't Repeat, cause that kinda was their new song on Greatest Hits? It may be based around both of them. i'd like it to be a darker album, cause well i like their dark songs, like The Noose, Never Gonna Find Me, Gone Away, the kids aren't alright, and (can't Get My) Head Around You. I'd think a darker album would be good, and since Can't Repeat was their news released song i'd make sence, right?

I have a feeling it is going to be a bit like Next To You. I hope they do another Splinter type album with less songs like Worst Hangover Ever, Spare me The Details, etc. I loved The Noose, Never Gonna Find Me, Lightning Rod, Long Way Home, and Da Hui because they were so powerful and aggressive.

So? Many bands do covers of other bands and some even release them as singles. Some of them are even huge hits like Elton John's cover of Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds and Alien Ant Farm's cover of Smooth Criminal.

I mean that the whole album won't sound like it. It was a straight cover, it wasn't hardly any different from the original.

Oh, okay. I see. Nevermind. I have never heard the original. I guess I had kinda just assumed that they pulled a Hey Joe and took a slow song and made it fast.
