Hi.

have you tried the new drink yet? the Cinnamon Dolce latte?

if not, you're missing out. oh my god.

i went to Starbucks to get my caramel apple cider and the lovely barista gave me two samples of the cinnamon dolce. one for me and one for my husband. i drank mine... then i drank his. :D

then i came in my pants.

ok, not really. but go out and try it. it's ridiculously cinnamony/brown sugary goooooood... with whipped cream and cinnamon powder on top. sfdg.

I only go to starbucks if im with my posh cotham mates, but most my mates are like, "fuking hell £3.90 for a cup of coffee!!!". :(

I heard somewhere that one frappucino with all the whip cream and all that stuff had more calories than a Big Mac. That's just kinda... not pleasant to think about when drinking a coffee-type beverage.

I do like Starbucks though.

The only time I drink Starbucks is when it's summer and I take advantage of the iced coffee. My god, an iced Choco-mocha is just a godsend on a hot summers day

Sunny
01-18-2006, 01:48 PM
well, it's a dessert drink. i don't think it's something most people have every day... well.. i'd hope not, at least.

XYlophonetreeZ
01-18-2006, 01:50 PM
That's what I'd like to think too, but back in high school I had lots of friends who just got one every morning when the weather was warm, as a substitute for coffee. And I drink them much less frequently than I used to since I heard that information about it. Ick.

Sunny
01-18-2006, 01:54 PM
ew. they're so thick, though!

i usually have iced mochas or iced caramel macchiatos in the summer.

It tasted just like mint chocolate chip coffee...GREAT!

Ohh, that sounds dreeeeaaamy!

I was so anti-Starbucks until I lived in NYC. Now, I see there is nothing better than a cup from Starbucks in the midst of a busy workday or cold walk outside. Cinnamon dolce whatnot? WOOT.

We don't have these. Bars don't even serve coffee here. Unless you go to one of those fancy ones.

Sin Studly

Poker machine sections of bars always put out free shitty coffee and biscuits, sometimes even platters of spring rolls and samosas if nobody buys them at lunch. It keeps people gambling longer.

Vlad - that is amazing. on a somewhat related note, my school (14th street & 5th avenue) is like 2-3 blocks away from 3 different Starbucks.

craziness.

and wtf, if I call a thread "FELLOW STARBUCKS GOERS", that should probably mean that people who have never been inside a Starbucks - and people who prefer rancid, vile, superstrong coffee - are not the target audience. so stfu.

Yeah, we used to have two Starbucks directly across the street from my campus... then last fall they built a third. It's craziness.

Personally, I don't really like Starbucks' coffee.

If coffee doesn't give you a mild speed-rush and burn worse than straight vodka when it hits your stomach, it's not worth drinking.

Yeah, that's how I drink my coffee - the house blend taken black. And Starbucks black coffee ain't nothin' to come crawlin' back for, especially when it's more expensive than the local joints'. Bitchcoffee is the caffeinated equivalent of drinking Creme de Menthe.

I'm just against any alcohol or coffee product that's designed to drown out the alcohol/coffee taste by overwhelming it with enough sugar to send a room full of kindergardeners into an epileptic fit. It just tastes far too artificially sweet.

i like earl grey so so so so SO much. especially with lemon (no, not freshly pressed...eww). i like roibush tea, i hope that's how you spell it in english. especially with vanilla&strawberry. and i looove this cherry+joghurt tea. i also like green tea, but only with tons of sugar. otherwise it tastes nasty to me, hehe. and of course black tea (from iran). i've had it all my life, i love it to pieces.

white tea is delicious... very mild and delicate, sort of hard to describe.

ever tried green tea with orange blossom honey? for me it works better than sugar.. and i always sweeten my green tea a lot, too. sometimes i add an orange slice.

if you like earl grey with lemon flavors, try lady grey. it's like earl grey but more delicate and sweet... with a yummy citrusy taste.

This tea is based on a premium black tea from Sri Lanka, blended with cardamom, cloves, coriander, cumin seed, sweet cumin seeds, curry leaves, lemon grass, rampe leaves. Best enjoyed with milk, and sugar to taste

in other words, it tastes like orgasm feels. go out and try it. the best kind is either Stash chai or the kind restaurants serve.

Well if you order an ordinary cup of coffee in France they'll give you a double shot espresso (or something.) But I preferred that.

I love a country that believes some bread and a bowl of coffee is a proper breakfast.

Also, Chai is just simply better than sex. And it goes so well with a sheesha.
