Oh god! That is fucking AMAZING!

Fittingly, that half-assed attempt at humor using several generic and well-worn jokes might very well mark the death of Chuck Norris as an ironic iconic figure.

I almost believed it, until about the second sentence. Yeah, it sucked.

Had it been longer, and more subtle, it might've been funny. As such, it was lame.

The young chuck norris thing on snl was pretty wack.

the visible URL is usually a dead giveaway.

That was stupid and poorly written. Shame on you.

Endymion is right, when you see the URL has "rofflecopter" in it, it's obvious that what you're clicking on isn't a real CNN website... Not to mention the fact that the pictures proportions are out of whack and there is almost no article there at all. Analysis: Not funny, just boring.

You'd just better hope Chuck doesn't see it.

Chuck Norris once posted a picture of tubgirl on a forum and banned the administrators. You better watch out.

That really wasn't funny.

But the Tubgirl line was. Funny.

As was the SNL skit. I don't watch much but this is their best i've ever seen. Even tops Celebrity Jeopardy.

Good, I wanted to test it before submitting it chucknorrisfacts.com

Oh then just lose the "you better watch out" sentance. Stick with one line.

Chuck Norris once roundhouse kicked the British so hard that they forgot how to spell.

Hmm, I should work on that one.

I just added the "you better watch out" part for it to work in this context.

Edit: I sent the email. *waits*

Point taken. Shutting up.

Seriously now, I say this without favoritism, that's as good as anything I've read there. I think it's fuckin' hilarious.

I have the feeling that before long this whole thing is gonna be so run into the ground and over used that it's not funny to anyone anymore.

It's for the better. There was a faux-CNN page that said Chuck Norris had died. It contained a one-paragraph article that said something about Norris' heart being run over by a train while he was working out, playing with his kids, having sex with his wife and fending off ninjas.

I think just a headshot. It's signalling the death of an internet meme - someone unfunny can throw together a half-assed, awful attempt at humor, but because it says "Chuck Norris" in it, people automatically assume it's funny and pass it around, diluting the whole concept.

You know, in a way this is the net's version of the dreaded "WHAT??" "YEAAAAHHHH" plague of 2004.

That's...kind of how humor works.
