4 monitors? Isn't a monitor a screen? Why would you need 4 of them? And how does that mean more space?

If nobody guessed, I am a computer retard.

no one has heard of using more than one monitor? its like having one whole desktop, chat on one screen, watching music videos on the other, surf the net on the other, multi-tasking at its best
once you try it you'll never go back to one

the four times faster claim doesn't seem to be quite true, mags.

and why actually waste power, desk space, and money when one can simply use virtual desktops (http://k12linux.mesd.k12.or.us/docs/gnome/ch02s05.html)? it scales easily up to at least 16 as well. i typically use two on my gui systems and with gnu screen (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gnu_screen) i use nine on my cli systems.

if it's only 2x faster, then i'm happy, honestly. i might wait til they release an update though.

one of the xp powertoys supplied by microsoft is a virtual desktop manager. from what i recall it's not all that great though. my brother once told me that nvidia includes a pretty good one with their driver suite.

the MS one: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx
