Isn't humourously ironic like you might think. At all. When this fad dies, I shall rejoice.

You're just upset you didn't get into this one early enough to unleash the cliche upon others before they did on you.

No, I've been uncomfortably averting my eyes the entire time, hoping it was just something the less funny denizens of the board were going to latch onto. Now it's getting really really really really really stupid and annoying.

But I think you're forgetting he counted to infinity. Twice.

The limit of characters in the board prevents me from listing what Chuck Norris does to the unfaithfull.

Stop being a fag anyways and join us on the cliche. It's funny if everyone is doing it.

I must agree with Justin on this. Except as funny as it is, I had experinced a very similar fad in my school a year or so ago. Only it was with Vin Diesel.

ps. How shit is my grammar? Jeez I only just noticed.

It's funny if everyone is doing it.

That's precisely what makes it so heinously unfunny.

Are you against the very definition of a cliche or are you anal in particular over this one?

I'm against anything that starts off as slightly amusing then gets appropriated by the most witless unfunny gormless molluscs on the fucking planet, who repeat it until it loses any humour it may or may not have started out with.

Yeah that's true but everytime I feel bothered and embarassed for having something with the molluscs, I remember we all breath the same air and poop out smelly shit. I'm just content to make the jokes between those people who do matter... but I see where you're coming from (i'm pretty sure we both agreed that we share this philosphy from before) and i'm much more enclined to act out the elitist in other fields.

Question. Were the Chuck Norris facts ever really 'ironic,' or were they what people wished could only be true?

Chuck Norris jokes are the new "I'm Rick James, bitch." Funny for a few days and then entirely too played out.

I've always thought Norris was a prime candidate for adulation because his movie and television careers were so absurd (Sidekicks anyone?). He's funnier than Seagal or Diesel because Norris actually thinks that he's making a difference and tries to convey a positive quality in all of his characters. When a guy founds a program called Kick Drugs out of America (and takes it seriously) you know something is (or, for that matter, isn't) going on inside his head.

I'll still go to the new Norris joint due out this year. Because:
1. Like it or not, his stuff is damn infectious. I can watch Walker, Texas Ranger and be entertained.
2. I still find his career funny, even if some unfunny internet trolls try to change his status as ironic iconic action hero.
3. The name of the damn movie is the Cutter, which I find comedic (for obvious reasons).

I like Charlie Sheen...

How long ago was this "Chuck Norris" thing going on? Because of friend of mine has had Chuck Norris all over his MySpace and has a poster in his room of him since June 2005.

I only found out about the Chuck Norris facts a couple of months ago. It's not really a fad at my school, either. Thus, I shall never get tired of them.

Only a few kids other than me know of the Chuck Norris facts, and a bunch of those kids were shown by me.

Actually, a few of my friends found out about them within a week of me finding them on the internet here. It was a very strange coincidence.
