Im from sweden and i wonder how ''big'' millencolin is in USA and the rest of the world. I know that they have sold a lot of records worldwide, but how well do you know the band?

They have a strong following in Toronto, but I wouldn't call them "big" here.

I checked them out, when I first played a clip, the first 5 seconds I was thinking... Midtown? but this is a band I know I'll like

One of very few decent pop-punk bands. Their music is enjoyable, though they're not very well known in the UK since everyone is into all that samey "indie"-rock.

Many people like them. Their videos are occaisionally on rock music stations, (e.g. Stevens Untitled Rock Show) but not popular enough to be outside of that show.

I may be wrong but the only song I listened of them sounded pretty much like Blink 182.

Well that's not nice, go download one of Millencolin's albums (Pennybridge Pioneers or Home From Home) and you'll see they're not like Blink at all.

You can listen to quite a few songs on their website aswell I think: www.millencolin.com

BLINK = MILLENCOLIN?? OMFG!
just view a couple of lyrics od both and compare... Blink is just "hey, i'm a drunken asshole" and Millencolin has very good lyrics...

everyone of my friends listens to millencolin, so do I.
they had a gig 4 months ago in Fuerth what's just 30 km away from my place, I didn't get any ticket's anymore :mad: :mad: :mad:
but I think they're pretty cool, like many other swedish punk-rock,alternative,hardcore bands like for example: refused, the international noise conspiracy, the soundtrack of our lives or In flames

my favourite song is montego

They are very popular for a punk rock band in Australia. They get a fair bit of air play on Triple J. Kingwood was in the top 50 albums for a few weeks as well.

My favorite off of Kingwood, their newest album.
