View Full Version : Yahoo MusicCast is really lame.

So, for the last few weeks I've been trying to refine my music station on Yahoo MusicCast, and I seem to be getting nowhere. Apparently when they made the "Metal Forever" station, they quaintly forgot to include any metal made in the last 30 years.

Granted, there's the odd one (Queensryche being a big one), but jesus.

So to make this thread into a discussion, does anyone use it? Thoughts?

EDIT: BLUE OYSTER CULT?!

Use pandora.com for a little bit it will play some bad songs but after you tell it what songs you like and don't like for a few days it doesn't play much of anything I don't like. you get to pick what it plays aswell. If you like Iced Earth tell it to look for band that sound like Iced Earth it does the same thing with songs too and you can have an infinite amount of bands and songs on one station.

Blue Oyster Cult is amazing you guys are just lame. Although they don't fit at all on a "metal forever" station, I still <333 Secret Treaties like whoa.

I'm not saying they're a bad band (well I am, but let's pretend I'm not). But on a Metal Forever station? ffs.

I loved it and had over 1,000 ratings on it. It played a lot of good songs.

Then one day I didn't use it anymore and just a month back I tried it again. It didn't work on Firefox and apparently my IE is too old for it to work, anyway.

I hear there's some thing called Pandora that works like it, but on Flash so it should work better than LaunchCast.
