Just wondering what Cant Repeat live is like? Does it sound alright, do the crowds get wild when its being played.

i supppose it is decent live, strong guitar and vocals and all that. Go on www.offspringbootlegs.co.uk and look for a live bootleg.

It went over well, when I saw them.

I believe i saw a clip of it live from Milian in 2005. Was pretty cool.

I got a video of it, Dexter did the riffs (and messed them up a tiny bit), and the crowd was pretty wild.

i heard it live at the warped tour last year...ive got two words for it: freakin awesome :)

the crowd was fairly wild....not nearly as much as with All I Want

I would like to hear that one little riff thing live. As much as I try, I can't get it sound as smooth when I play it. I just figured they used some expensive ass studio effects to accomplish it so I wonder how they pull it off live.

they've obviously got two guitars playing it... I'm sure that helps make it sound smoother... but yeah they do use a lot of studio shit... it'd be cool to hear live.

Erf , it's not the best song in live ... but they play it quite well =)

yeah...to the guy who was talking about the riff...i always find those last 2 note a biatch to get, especially when playing at speed.
Although, you can just barre a chord on g ...on 11 and 10 frets to get more or less the same sound....sorry im trying to think of the notes whilst sat in a library

does anybody no an accurate tab for the song? becuase i looked on a tab website (apologies) and i can't find a correct tab for noodles intro.

02-17-2006, 06:01 AM
Yeash, what part is it you want?
the intro is just:
D-2(in time to begining)--2(x8)---5(x8)---3 -------5
A-0--------------------- 0 ------3------ 3 (x8)---5(x8)
E- ------------------------------------- 1------- 3

everything besides the riff follows that pattern...whether it be palm muted, or staggered downstroks....its those chords
If you want the chorus thingie...i'll do it

02-17-2006, 07:07 AM
(just outta curiosity, not to be a smartass) are any offspring songs not in standard tuning?

02-17-2006, 07:07 AM
i'm pretty sure Americana is a dropped D tuning

02-17-2006, 07:09 AM
I think only when they play it live... I've always thought it was standard... could be wrong.

02-17-2006, 07:14 AM
