If you've never seen this show, you must. It's pure British comic genius. It's like a better version of Cold Feet - if you liked that, you'll love this.

"Have you thought about your foreplay?"

"Like what?"

"Duh. Like when you're going to take off your socks!"

"Socks?!"

"I suggest after you take off your shoes, but before you take off your trousers. That's the Sock Gap. Miss it, and suddenly you're a naked man in socks. And no self-respecting woman will do the squelchy with a man in socks."

"That's your foreplay tip? Socks?!"

"Many better men have fallen through the Sock Gap, Steve. Below the galatic plane of sex, there is a devil pit of socks. No squelchy with socks, Steve."

Cold Feet = brilliant.
Coupling = even better, in some ways.

British comedy = amazing (for my sense of humor anyway)

I desperately want Coupling on DVD, but alas, it's not available in here and anyway, the DVDs cost like sin.

But anyway, BRILLIANT TV-show, overall.

Black Books = also brilliant. I know Nicole on this BBS is a big fan. Bernard Black is my personal idol.

2 Pints & a Bag of Crisps? Get the fuck off, no way is that the best comedy show. It's okay, I find myself laughing a few times, Gaz's character is pretty funny, but mostly it just fails to entertain me - like the character of Louise - possibly the worst "weird" character on TV ever.

Now, the guy from 2 Pints was in a great comedy series called The Royale Family. That one was class.
