View Full Version : Poland-What to do?

I'm being forced to go to Poland this summer, anybody have any suggestions on what to do there? Its an organized trip of sorts, but somehow I think I'll be extending my scheduled "free time" just a tad. Places/hot spots close to Krakow, and easily accessible in mid-June.

you really shouldn't have a hard time entertaining yourself in a city known for its (tourist-oriented) cafes, restaurants and nightlife.

and there's plenty of shopping if you're into that.

everything is easily accessible because the main city is limited to a fairly small circular area. and there are tons of cabs.

go to the old Jewish district, it's a major "hot spot", as you put it.

Drink vodka and beat your spouse.

that's the north of Poland. if that's where you're going, you should also hump some sheep while you're at it.

oh, if you have a lot of free time (3-4 hours), like the mountains, don't mind a lot of tourists, and like luxury shopping, take a trip to Zakopane. it's nuts.

Reccomend me some nice places to visit in North Poland.

As well as some decent vodka brands and submissive wives.
