I think this was a new nice addition to an Offspring song. Hope to hear one like this again. What do you guys think? :)

Josh Freese=God.....I would love to see more of that stuff, they dont have any drum solos. So the new album would be killer to have alot more.

What's with the spelling?

Funny thing is, "n e" requires three keystrokes, so why not just type "any"?

i cant see anything changing with regards solos on the new album, its good to have them now and again but i like the way they dont go overboards with solos the way other bands do!

The Offspring usually tend to have a short drum solo or twon in all of their albums, but for some reason Long way Home seemed to get noticed by a lot more people. The solo itself is not too hard, it just sounds hard to one not familiar with drumming.

what band is josh freese with? , cuz the more i listen to "Splinter" the more i hear that there is alot more energy with the drums. THe whole albums just got a great sound, and i think josh had ALOT to do with it.

A Perfect Circle, if I'm not mistaken. And I believe he recently joined Nine Inch Nails, too.

Drum solo in Long Way Home? I've heard people talk about it, but I've never actually heard it. When is it? How long is it?

I was talking to Tom DeLonge on MSN and he said the new album has great drumming.

This isn't about AVA. But the new album will probably have extrodinary drumwork.

PS What is Tom's email address? :D

Ohhh...! I can't believe I've never noticed that before. I guess I didn't think it'd be that short. First I thought it might be the little thing Ninty Man talked about, but that didn't seem like a solo at all in my opinion...

A good point, now that I come to realize about it. Yes, exellent solo (it gives a kind of personality to the song, making it one of bests songs from Splinter).
More Noodles`s solos would be perfect...and also Greg`s solos too!!

I don't know too much about bass, but I always thought the intor of Tehran was some of Greg's best work.
