It's British food, isn't it? Well, there's your answer right there.

Colonization was the best damn idea the English ever came up with, as the migration of people from the colonies to the U.K. has blessed your country with the only edible food it contains. Fuck spotted dick, pass the tikka masala.

Remember: the pilgrims almost starved to death until the Indians taught them all how to cook real food on Thanksgiving. In return, we ensured that future generations of Indians would be immune to smallpox. We tried with bullets also, but the innoculations never worked.

I'll bet you anything they had tons of British food stored, just felt dying was the less painful choice.

Marmite has the most awful aftertaste. I prefer vegemite.

I'm yet to meet anybody who likes both.

Andy
03-22-2006, 04:54 PM
I thought vegemite was the Aussie equivalent to marmite?
I must have been wrong.
I bet both taste awful.

Sin Studly
03-22-2006, 04:55 PM
Vegemite is the aussie equivalent. But it tastes good. Marmite tastes terrible. And the kiwi version, promite, is even worse.

Andy
03-22-2006, 04:57 PM
Promite? Sounds like a body-building milkshake.

Anyways, anybody who doesn't like any form of concentrated yeast extract is a whining pussy, and probably doesn't like anchovies, jalepeno peppers, goat feta, straight vodka or french capers. In other words, somebody who has no taste whatsoever.

Andy
03-22-2006, 05:03 PM
I approve of anchovies, jalapenos and (sometimes) straight vodka & feta. I feel special.

You're still a nutless bastard if your constitution can't handle the awesome power of yeast extract.

I don't have an opinion on marmite... I like twiglets though (aren't they marmite flavoured?)

I love Jalapenos and Goat feta, but i don't do Vodka. No.Way.

We're happy little Vegemites

As bright as bright can be.

We all enjoy our Vegemite

For breakfast, lunch, and tea.

Our mother says we're growing

stronger every single week.

Because we love our Vegemite.

We all adore our Vegemite.

It puts a rose in every cheek!

I never heard of it but Vegemite reminds me of Vitameatavegamin so I'll just quote I love Lucy because I can.

Hello, friends. I'm your Vitameatavegamin girl. Are you tired, rundown, listless? Do you poop out at parties? Are you unpopular? Well, the answer to all your problems is in this little bottle. Vitameatavegamin. Yes, with Vitameatavegamin you can spoon your way to health. All you have to do is take a tablespoon after every meal. It's so tasty too! Just like candy! So why don't you join the thousands of happy, peppy people and get a great big bottle of Vitameatavegamin tomorrow. That's Vita...meata...vegamin.
