If your digestive system is all out of whack because you're sick all the time etc. and you do a short detox diet to get the pipes back in working order, and you happen to also be lactose intolerant, do NOT under any circumstances eat dairy. Just don't do it. Good lord.

That is all.

If you're lactose intolerant, shouldn't you avoid dairy even when not on a detox diet?

Well, let's say that while the junk was out of order, you didn't notice the...symptoms. Now that things are open for business again, the side-effects say HELLOOO!

So how did you detox? I think I need it. My body had gone crazy.

I'm lactose intolerant; I have no time for lactose.

Little Jerry Seinfeld reference there for you.

Except even if you detox you'll need to take your meds. So like, don't.

oh my jesus. sounds like a blast.

i'll add another piece of digestive advice to this: if you have an easily irritated stomach with a possible pre-ulcerous condition, do not drink 3 glasses of orange juice the second you wake up. it just doesn't work out well. ;x

aw, Sarahz.. my friend is lactose intolerant & every time she eats yoghurt, it's like she sticks up her mid finger for the entire world to see; "YES I'm lactose intolerant, YES this will make me sick & YES I'm eating it. because I want to." cracks me up every time. I hate it when she's sick, though, so I always hide dairy products from her.

another piece of advice; if your Ritalin dose has just been adjusted & went up & you're bouncing from one wall to the other, forgetting to take the damn stuff half of the time & then taking too much of it.. don't take them with beer. I've been hyper for a good three hours in a way even my boyfriend couldn't handle me anymore & my roommate had to feed me tomatosoup just to calm me down & now I'm pretty much exhausted. & I feel sick.

I mix milk with whiskey!

Eh I was actually served coffee (with milk) so the consumption of both (the other being whiskey) came as natural and I didn't one bit mind the taste. I have a good digestive system. And I take big shits.

JoY

My version of detox is eating veggie burgers instead of hamburgers and smoking menthols.

Menthols are disgusting.

Your question does not deserve any kind of real answer because it's just such an incredibly stupid thing to ask.

i know it is but still where i work people come in and buy about $300 in meds and then but 100s of cigaretts

in my opinion it is an expensive way to die

Little_Miss_1565
03-28-2006, 08:15 AM
Menthols are kind of tasty I thought. Minty!

American Spirits, though....now that's a cig. If I wasn't on the pill I'd probably smoke them. Also if my health wasn't so awful.

JoY
03-28-2006, 08:15 AM
yes, but thankfully we don't care about your opinion.=)

Yes, it is definitely expensive. But there's no guarante that it will kill you, it just increases the chance of certain health problems. It's actually a very, very slow way to die. Even so, it's not a very intelligent thing to do, but smokers already know that, and most probably wish they had never started. The thing is, it's rather difficult to quit. I assume you've never had an addiction, so you really don't know what you're talking about. We really, really don't need people like you judging us. Honestly, is it even any of your business what we do? No. It's not.

demon_slayer
03-28-2006, 08:21 AM
true it is none of my business so i don't really care what happens

but i was addicted to it for a while and over came it so i do know what i am talking about

JoY
03-28-2006, 08:22 AM
that you actually took the effort to type that out. wow. I guess my addiction has brought me to the stage of total selfishness, that I really don't give a dick anymore about what everyone says.

I remember a little girl on the back of her father's bike in the middle of the streets of Amsterdam, yelling at me that I would die, because I was smoking a cigarette. I replied that she'd die too & then she looked at me with the most frightened face I've ever seen. aw, kids.

I'd like to add that generally everyone is familliar with the subject of unhealthy habits/smoking/addictions one way or another. so yeah, everyone knows what they're talking about, but I don't need their opinions forced on me. I don't feel like an opinion is forced on me in this case, so whatever.

Paint_It_Black
03-28-2006, 08:23 AM
that you actually took the effort to type that out. wow.

Yeah, I know. I just felt like having a small, polite rant about it.

I like the detox plans that let you eat AS MUCH of what's allowed as you want. YAY OATMEAL.
