There's plenty of bands I'm excited to see, but I'm especially excited to see the return of lots of punk music, instead of emo and shit. Here's a list of some punk stuff I'm glad to see this year...

AFI(select dates, don't get too excited)
Against Me
Anti-Flag
Bouncing Souls
The Buzzcocks
The Casualities
Less Than Jake
NOFX
Rise Against
Sum 41
Stretch Armstrong

FUCK YEAH!

ya it will definetly be better then last year, even though offspring played. i think 2002 and 2004 were the best that i went to.

I absolutely love how you list some of the least exciting bands on there. Way to fucking go.

I hate myself now because I'm looking forward to seeing a few bands on that list.

I mean, Less Than Jake is fun, and I wouldn't mind seeing the Buzzcocks. AFI isn't playing my day, which angers me, and the rest of bands generally bore me. I'll probably watch NoFX and Anti-Flag, but I wouldn't consider them a reason to go. I REALLY want to see Joan Jett, though. And The Germs, Darby Crash or no Darby Crash.

i went to see tsunami bomb this one time they were opening for bouncing souls and at least half the people (my party included) there left after TB's set.

I think if I was going to a show and they were going to be there, I'd watch them. They're not awesome, but I find them mildly entertaining - and if I was there anyways....

Well, I've only heard a couple songs, but I regret being able to say that very much.

The Bouncing Souls seem like the kind of band whose set you can enjoy even if the music isn't all that good.

"Say Anything" is an awesome track though.

Riverboat Gamblers are going. It is going to rock for sure.

I'm sort of interested in hearing Shane West with the Germs. I've read places that he's really good, but I've also heard that is was anything special.

Well, a pop-punk tour is better than an emo tour I suppose.

It kinda sucks that AFI is only playing select dates, they're the best band on the roster in my opinion.

I'll probably see : Joan jett, Buzzcocks, Nofx and The Bouncing souls.

No way. They're too busy recording a mediocore and disappointing album this summer.

Despite not particularly liking you, I do like this post. Make more like this and less like... you know, your normal posts.

I also wanna see some of the emo/screamo/post hardcore stuff that's there too, like...

Saves The Day(overated but still good)
Thursday
Silverstein
Reggie & The Full Effect (HELL YEAH)
Saosin(repeatitive, but still awesome)
Plain White T's
Motion City Soundtrack
Gatsby's American Dream

I'll probably end up missing most of the bands I listed here, but all of them are pretty good.

Hell No. Plain White T's and Motion City aren't THAT great at all, I just hear them in my friends car a lot. The rest of the bands are fucking awesome though.

P.S. Fuck ANYONE that doesn't like Reggie.

I remember my first Warped Tour back when I was a young lass...

AFI, Vandals, Pennywise, Sum 41, Rancid, Ataris, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, Dropkick Murphy's, H2O, Bouncing Souls, Less Than Jake, Tsunami Bomb...

Nowadays you're lucky to get three or four bands that are even decent, and maybe one or two that are particularly worth seeing.

Yeah...that sounds awesome. God, I wish I was going to concerts back then. There would be so many bands I'd want to see, and so many pits to go in, that I might die of heat exhaustion. Recently at Warped Tour though, I end up in maybe one or two pits.

Way to make me feel so young. I hate how most of the bands I like have passed their primes.
See also: Are dead.

Yeah, I'm reading Choke. Yeah, I love it.

I go to see the bands that are behind the huge bleachers at Peoria Sports Complex with a stage a little bigger then my bed and they aren't listed on the webiste. They are usually pretty good.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

I just wanted to make a guide that would help people make more substantial posts than they normally would. Ignition/pyro should try the mad libs to mkake a better post than the one he had.

I'm surprised how many souls haters there are here. Even if you don't like all their songs, I've never met anyone who couldn't get into a couple of their songs live.

I tried to get into them during the 2004 warped tour, i just couldn't, i just thought their music was just that bad.

As well every time I hear Anchors Away my ears bleed a little.
