has anybody on these boards had any experience with Agile guitars? I am seriously looking into ordering the one of the AL lp copies. Im a just a little skeptical because the prices are so cheap ("you get what you pay for") starts to kick in here. I've millions of great reviews for them though.

EDIT: you can check them out here Rondo Music (Rondomusic.net)

Almost everyone in musicianforums.com say the lp prestige series is awesome. I haven't played one though.

I've had much experience with Rondo Music. They only stock quality low priced instruments. SX and Agile also being the top two brands, everything on that website is worth a good hundred or so worth more than they sell it for.

Yeah after looking through there sight and reading some reviews i've found they're trustworthy and top quality stuff. I decided to hold off on ordering because he is supposed to get a whole new shipment in May replenishing the out of stock items not listed on the sight. But if nothing catches my eye then im set on this one

I've so wanted that for so long... eveytime I get the money I blow it on something else :( I will get that guitar someday. In fact I'm building a silverburst Ibanez RG right now. Don't know how it will come out.

im not much of a musician, what is an agile guitar? is it a brand name, such as fender and ibanez, or is it something different?

I've played an Agile before along with an SX. My bassist has SX's B205 which I do believe is discontinued. It was a very well made 5 string for $99.

That's cool. My dad was a professional bassist for a living when he was in his 20's and he was looking on there the other day for some nice 5 strings. He might be ordering one. All this talk of these Agiles is getting me excited. I want to order one right now but i know i'll be hapier if i wait till the new shipment comes in.

I've only heard great things about the ones labeled prestige. The other ones I heard were just okay but good for the money.

Trust me, wait. If you are near one of the first to order after the new shipment, they will tend to choose one of the nicer ones.

Speaking of agile...look at this quality for how cheap it's going. It's a baritone (which I don't mind).

That looks like a pretty good deal. I must say tho, those pickups look rather suspicous...i'd change em out. Overall tho it resembles an RG.

It reminds me more of some ESP models.
