wow. zomg. just, wow. I have a boyfriend, and today, I had my first kiss. wow. you guys are all like probably "whatever" because you're used to that kind of stuff....but me, an 11 year old? someone who is just strange, not typical, and doesn't dress like a slut would be a very unlikely "nominee" for this sort of thing. I'm proud of myself, and extremely happy. I LOVE HIM!!!! happiness. yayz.

I still love him though. I swear, he has to be at most 30 pounds, lawlz. he's so easy to pick up.

wow...am I doing something wrong? I haven't even got that far and I'll be fifteen in nineteen days!

Well, I had a boyfriend, then I broke up with him two and a half weeks later. He's going out with this plain-jane annoying girl now. He turned her down before, so I think he did it out of pity, because he laughed the first time.

Why are you so sure? Maybe "being in love" doesn't exist for her but obviously love does. And a lot of people still love their childhood friends.

JoY
04-16-2006, 08:49 AM
kamikaze: I remember being in love, yes IN LOVE, for the first time at a very young age. it started at like 8, or something, & didn't end till I was almost 13. it was very strong too. just remembering it makes me see his face again & smile & wah..
I don't know why you'd ever think it's impossible. because in most cases you don't know yourself well enough yet to be able to fall in love with someone you'll stick with the rest of your life, doesn't mean you don't have functioning hormones at the age of 11.

*scratches head* congratulations Leah! I'm glad your first kiss was such a great experience & that you're happies & floating on pink clouds of luvv.=)

Andy

Seriously though, eleven!

Absolutely not. I'm saying it's unlikely. That's all.

JoY
04-16-2006, 03:40 PM
wow. in this case I might have to inform some friends of mine, that their first period they had when they were 10/11, wasn't an actual period, because it's impossible to experience any effects from hormones at that age. *scratches head* this theory really complicates my entire understanding of biology, physiology & homeostasis of the human body.

Sunny
04-16-2006, 04:16 PM

..DOCPWNED!!

JoY
04-16-2006, 05:52 PM
WOO!

..hold on, I'm only in my first year.
*runs off before anyone notices her*

it's only the lack of experience & knowledge of yourself & others that makes it unlikely that you'll stick with someone you got together with at a young age. it has nothing to do with lack of hormones, or their effect. of course hormone concentrations will change overtime, but that doesn't mean they aren't effectively present before a certain age. you could say, however, that they're not productive, since they generally can't lead you to ultimately the right decisions/conclusions/etc at a young age, because there's not a sufficient basis of knowledge, experience & rationality to support a certain sensation hormones give. the feeling is there & the feeling is real. physical & mental growing processes just make it unlikely the feeling will stick.

I kind of feel like I shouldn't be saying anything on the matter, if it wasn't for the fact this is pretty logical, commonly known shit. at least, I'd think so.

T-6005
04-16-2006, 06:05 PM
I'm sorry - I wasn't talking at all about hormones. Just about the situation. Clearly I was unclear when I said it was unlikely - I was just talking about the love part of it. I agree with you, I was merely voicing my opinion on what Human feels. Not on what she can feel, but what she does.

I am not explaining myself well.

Can she love? Sure. Does she? That's all I'm wondering about.

EDIT - And I just realized that I wrote "Clearly I was unclear" in that.
